Key Responsibilities

• Assisting Senior Project Engineer and Construction Manager with daily site activities.
• Monitoring/reporting site progress (direct employees and subcontract works).
• Formulation of procedures for construction activities.
• Plan the works and develop look-a-head programmes.
• Liaise with the design coordination team to resolve technical discrepancies including preparing and submitting technical queries and meeting with design consultants as required.
• Manage the schedule of shop drawings and monitor the output of drafters.
• Plan the equipment and material requirements and raise purchase requisitions as required.
• Mentor and manage Site Engineers assigned to your zone/works areas.
• Review the authority approvals required ahead of the works and ensure submissions are made such that the clearances can be achieved before works start.

What is your mission?

You’ll help us deliver excellent service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

• Resource planning and fulfilment of billing hours for outbound (80%) and inbound (20%) sales model. Adoption and communication of global scheduling guidelines to appropriate stakeholders.

Details:

• Assist in shortlisting and recommending suitable tutor profiles to parents
• Coordinate & arrange 1st tuition lesson between client and tutors
• Assist with day-to-day Admin and Operations of company
• 4 Weekdays, 1 Weekend OR 3 Weekdays, 2 Weekends, 9.00AM to 6.30PM
• Able to commit for minimum 1 year
• $2,800-$4,300/Month (Inclusive of Regular Team Incentives)
• Base from $2,500-$3,500/Month & Monthly Incentives ($300-$800/Month)
• Management positions start from $4,000/Month base salary (for candidates identified with leadership potential)

Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project personnel to provide assistance and technical support

Planning, Execution and Monitoring

• Assist in the overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
• Monitor the work progress on daily basis
• Assist to prepare internal and external reports pertaining to project status
• Evaluate project progress and prepare detailed reports
• Collaborate with design team and engineers regarding the design and cutting lists and shop drawings
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
• Assist to obtain required permits and licences
• Ensure compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications

Contract Management

• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
• Timely submission of progress claims to the client/main-contractor

Supplier and Sub-Contractor Management

• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
• Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
• Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
• Evaluate sub-con progress and certify claims accordingly
• Assist procurement team with negotiation of contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements

Safety

• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Min 5 years of relevant experience in related field at a financial institution or fund management
• Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 & Above, speaking & writing) to liaise with Japanese counterparts & colleagues
• Understands how to read balance sheet of financial accounting report
