Tasks and Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the overall technical management of our fleet.
• This includes overseeing the daily operations of maintenance and repair, budgeting, survey schedules, onboard general assessment of vessels, inspections and docking, etc.
• Ensure the assigned vessels are technically operational or otherwise managed accordingly to the management agreement requirement.

• Identify and source for technical and operational supplies required for the vessels and ensure the rates are most economical.
• Monitor technical status of vessel with relation to class cert and survey
• Ensure that all copies of statutory, SOLAS and equipment certificates (life rafts, compasses, etc) are properly maintained and documented.
• Provide technical assistance and advice to ships both at home port and overseas.
• Perform monthly review of logs processes and attend to vessel inspections
• Supervise contractors’ repair/maintenance of vessels
• Perform budgeting and cost control measures on ship spares and docking requirements
• Perform technical compliance audits and investigation on defects/failures on a regular scheduled basis to ensure conformance
• Work closely with the HSE Management team to ensure smooth and successful implementation of QHSE system and policies for the Division.
• Perform systematic review of recommended codes, guidelines and standards and ensure compliance with Quality & Safety Management standards
• Ensure and maintain vessels’ zero loss time accident record and to report all vessel incidents,
• Near Misses to prevent and eliminate potential incidents.

Requirements

• Possess relevant sea-going work experience as Chief Engineer/Marine Engineer with minimum class 1 certification or equivalent with in experience in oil/ chemical tanker.
• LPG/ LNG gas carrier experience and/or new build experience would be advantageous but not necessary.
• Experience in leading a technical team
• Possess good organisational and communication skills and hands-on.

1. Corporate Business Performance (Major: Sales related)

- Daily / Weekly / Monthly Sales management (Most likely, Actual, MP, BP, Online) by product, market, country, currency, invoicing type

- Gap analysis on sales fluctuation & HQ figure checking

- Daily sales progress report M/S data reporting periodically

- Inventory status reporting

- FX rate trend reporting

- Maintain Sales related master files update and mapping check

2. Report compilation

- Weekly CFO/AHQ Report

- Online Sales & Cost Structure Report

- Any Ad-hoc report from top management & HQ

3. Operation Management

- GBMS Expense management

- Cost structure reporting and KPI management

- Sales closing check

- R&R Sales mapping management

Job Requirements:

- Min. Degree in accountancy / finance / logistics

- Competent in Microsoft Office software suite

- Attention to detail & ability to multi-task

Forecasting, Inventory Planning, and Logistics:

• Responsible for inventory planning, including replenishment, purchase order processing, and order tracking.
• Support new product launches and manage claims against suppliers for damaged or short supplied stocks.
• Maintain monthly inventory levels and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Analyze business risks and opportunities, proposing mitigation plans.
• Act as the first escalation point for supply disruptions and provide administrative support.
• Build strong relationships with teams, suppliers, and partners.
• Conduct forecast checks, collaborate with commercial teams to improve demand accuracy.

Continuous Improvement/Reporting:

• Collaborate with commercial teams to reduce market returns and minimize business waste.
• Prepare management meeting decks and analyze SCM reports.
• Recommend and implement cost and process improvement opportunities.
• Drive improvement initiatives in supply and inventory management.
• Support supply chain digital transformation and collaboration with external parties.

Leadership & Development:

• Oversee supply activities across chilled and ambient categories to meet business objectives.
• Provide backup for colleagues as needed.

Other Duties:

• Perform any other assigned duties and responsibilities.

Requirement

1. Min. Degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field may be required, although relevant work experience could also be considered.
2. Has pior experience in inventory management , familiarity with regulatory requirements, or experience in a particular sector may be necessary.
