• Foster harmonious, positive, and sustainable client, internal and external stakeholders (e.g consultants, government agencies, public, subcontractors, etc) relationships and ensure their expectations, needs, and requirements are met and constantly throughout the whole project life cycle
• Provide technical expertise to the project team throughout the project life cycle to achieve synergy, savings, and productivity.
• Devise cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion, ensuring WSHE and Quality Standards are not compromised.
• Contribute site and management expertise to the ongoing and tender projects, cost, evaluation, and cost control.
• Responsible for overall implementation and completion of projects within scheduled cost, time, and quality.
• Liaising with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, and sub-contractors to ensure smooth completion of the projects.
• Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to project managers to implement those decisions.
• Oversee quality control and safety matters on the site and to ensure Environment, Safety & Health (EHS) practices are carried out at all times and identify high-risk safety hazard activities before construction and approval of Method Statement.
• Performs tender adjudication on tender awards put up by Project teams as part of due diligence to ensure prices are competitive and all transactions are done above board with proper justification - to safeguard the company against any possible loss of profits, reputation, etc.
• Conduct analysis and review of tender costing by project tender teams to ensure that all potential risk, and specified requirements were adequately addressed.
• Lead a team of professional and technical staff in the planning and execution of day-to-day operations.
• Devise cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion

Job Requirement:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Must have more than 20 years of experience in Civil/Structural Engineering works
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills and strong analytical skills in bilingual
• Equipped with leadership skills in which able to lead the engineers in completing the jobs.
• Able to work 6 days per week at the Site office.
• Experienced in the construction of high-rise buildings of at least 100m high, with deep basement structures.
• Possess excellent leadership, planning, good management skills, interpersonal communication, and negotiation skills to lead a team of engineers and contractors while liaising with peers and colleagues from various departments. Possess the mental and physical stamina to take on numerous challenging tasks while simultaneously meeting high standards and deadlines/vision.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates given business communications

The Department

The IT Department is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Campus IT Infrastructure, AV Infrastructure and Phone system. Providing efficient system support to all users. The department is also responsible for resolving any IT-related faults Quickly and efficiently,

The Position

The IT support individual will provide effective IT assistance across all aspects of the business and will provide backup and support to the IT Manager. The individual is responsible for supporting and maintaining IT Infrastructure, AV Infrastructure and Phone system plus general maintenance of all IT-related hardware/software. The position provides exposure to a broad range of IT-related projects and activities.

Key Responsibilities

· Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, Desk Phones, and scanners

· Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks

· Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests

· Providing technical support across the campus

· Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary

· Testing new technology

· Possibly training more staff members

· Complete detailed reports listing requests to technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates/individuals involved

· Assist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage

· Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system-related concerns from all users.

· Organize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for computer hardware

· Escalate IT issues to the IT Manager where necessary

· Responsible for managing backups

· Manage AV and Telephone systems

· Setup class AV system, Setup class recording

· Setup AV system for On-campus event

· Creating purchase requisitions for IT hardware/software

· Ensuring all software purchased licensing is recorded and maintained

· Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with HR requirements

· Prepare documents, meeting materials, and correspondence.

· Perform basic administrative support duties as required to meet specific operational objectives.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in related profession preffered

Degree/Diploma in Computer Studies, Certification like MCSE or CCNA will be advantage.

Working hours
