POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Deputy Director, Talent Management & Capability Development, the hire will be one of the team leads within Synapxe Academy, supervising a total of 3 assistant managers and/or executives in managing the learning operations, digitalization and productivity efforts as well as delivery experience. • Collaborate with BUs to develop learning roadmaps based on competency frameworks to ensure that the learning needs for employees are clearly reflected for different job grades.
• Facilitate and oversee in-house training programmes for staff such as Group Orientation in an engaging and professional manner.
• Conduct timely reviews of the programmes run by Synapxe Academy to ensure that programmes are effective, and to source for alternative programmes, where relevant.

• Responsible for the overall execution of events, including planning, coordination, and execution.
• Work closely with vendors, suppliers to ensure all their needs are met, managing the day-of event operations.
• Ensure that all events meet the client's expectations and budget.
• Maintain accurate records of all event activities and expenses.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
• Manage any issue that may arise during the event, including resolving conflicts amongst individuals and managing crisis situations.
• Other duties as assigned by your Reporting Officer from time to time.

• At least two years of working experience in a similar position, preferably in an event management or hospitality industry. Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Service oriented with an eye for details.
• Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
• Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively.
• Ability to work independently and has good initiative under dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated and energetic.
• Open to work on weekdays/weekends/public holidays (depending event requirements) when required.
