Job Purpose
You will oversee end-to-end policy services activities (e.g. billing processing, etc.) and give advice and lead the Business Processing team to achieve the overall Department's target.
The Job
· Handles escalation and communication with policyholders and intermediaries
· Actively participate in departmental projects and initiatives; Provide in-depth practices and business logic as business representative
· Carry out tasks / actions without precedent events independently
· Implement new processes to improve efficiency
· Set the direction of process improvement through projects and initiatives including collaboration with other sections
· Handle business processing related enquiries from third parties like clients, intermediaries, TPA and other departments
· Review and implement new SOPs, incorporating changes due to compliance and new ways of working
· Lead and coach multiple teams of Business Processing staff for day-to-day business activities and operations
· Pro-actively allocate resources based on business priorities
· As part of the leadership team, work with key stakeholders to proactively shape the organisation’s cultureand conduct environment that is aligned to the organization’s Core Values
· Champion culture and conduct behavioral expectations within the Department/ Division
· Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
· Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
· Highlights any potential concerns/ risks and proactively shares best risk management practices
Our Requirements
· Degree holder
· Minimum of 5 years working experience in Group Insurance Business Processing role
· Minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity
· Demonstrates alignment with the organisation’s core values through expected behaviours
· High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
· Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
