What a Business Planning & Operations and Strategy Manager does at Visa: 

The successful candidate will leverage quantitative and qualitative analysis and research to drive the development of business strategy, support delivery of strategic initiatives as well as ensuring the successful operations of the cluster. The role will report to the Head of Business Planning & Operations for IPVMC and GC (Global Clients) and collaborate extensively with the IPVMC Leadership Team, market teams, Sales Excellence, Corporate Strategy and AP BPO teams. 

The successful candidate will: 

• Enhance existing and build new data tools to produce rigorous, fact based quantitative / qualitative analysis and research to drive deep and actionable insights.  

• Assess IPVMC’s current-state business performance, evaluating pros and cons of the cluster’s strategic options, size future business opportunities, preparing detailed business case, etc.) 

• Clearly communicate and present data and insights to mid-to-senior management in an accurate and efficient manner 

• Participate in creation of robust account, country & functional plans; track/report progress against targets as part of regular business reviews. 

• Actively support execution by systematically driving the cluster's strategic priorities, OKRs and key account reviews.  

• Assume responsibility for sales pipelines in Microsoft Dynamics, ensuring optimal pipeline management and tracking to target. 

• Assist with regular cluster business reviews by collaborating closely with all functions and markets to provide a holistic assessment of the business. Lead the continuous enhancement of existing processes and innovate new approaches to support the growth of the cluster.

As a Project Director / Delivery Lead, you will act as the single point of contact for the key client on all project delivery and managed services delivery matters. Overview of the Role

• The Project Manager/ Implementation Manager is expected to manage highly complex and time-sensitive client projects.
• The Project Manager will manage a portfolio of cluster and/or global client projects numbering from approximately 10-20 depending on scope and complexity, with highest level of quality and professionalism.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects and total client satisfaction: Implement client objectives within standard guidelines and timeframes
• Act as an advisor to the client in building the overall structure of the project and fine tune the solution to fit the client's requirements.
• Act as the primary interface to client, while coordinating all internal and external project related activities.
• Support Sales effort by participating as a part of the deal team to prepare client pitches.
• Comply with all audit, regulatory and compliance directives.
• Appropriately manage and resolve issues and escalations raised throughout the project through proper issue tracking and escalation channels.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of client management and/or project management experience is good to have.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with cash/trade products and business processes.
• Strong influencing skills to manage virtual teams.
• Expert knowledge of MS Office products, including MS Project.
• Certified Project Management training / certification (i.e. Project Management Professional - PMP, Prince 2 Practitioner, or equivalent) preferred.
• A technical background and a strong understanding of human and system interfacing, interaction and design are also highly desirable.
• Since the clientele will involve handling Mandarin speaking clients, business-level proficiency in Mandarin is good to have.

• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience is required, Masters degree is good to have.

Team Summary

The Consumer Solutions group manages the deployment and optimization of Visa’s core products base consisting of Credit, Debit and Prepaid payments solutions as well as Engagement Solutions and the benefits platforms that function across all product categories – together, these are Visa’s core products. The team is also responsible for the development and deployment of innovation across this product suite. To do this, we work in close partnership with Visa clients and key internal and external stakeholders. What the SD, Head of Core Product Management does at Visa:

Reporting to the Head of Consumer Solutions, AP, the Head of Core Product Management will be responsible for initiatives across four broad areas of responsibility

1. Management of established core products - Credit, Debit and Prepaid to maximize operational efficiency in managing these established platforms
2. Identification and development and execute initiatives to drive expansion of Visa’s consumer credit portfolio, in line with the Visa 2030 strategy, driving growth in associated PV and revenue across.
3. Facilitate Visa’s thought leadership in the AP payments industry through promulgation of Core Product best practices.
4. Sourcing and management of Visa’s core cardholder benefits, across mass, affluent and x-border

The role-holder will lead a team of direct line reports in Singapore and works closely with Core Product teams across AP, responsible for evolving and building end-to-end consumer experiences that drive client preference for Visa as a strategic partner and make us an enabler of superior value propositions for digitally-enabled consumers.

An essential part of Visa’s success is the establishment and application of rules and standards, to ensure a uniform, reliable point-of-sale UX, both online and offline. The Head of Core Product Management will lead the efficient administration of these Rules and Standards as they pertain to Core Products, ensuring that the Rules are fit-for-purpose, while also ensuring their efficient operation and administration.

The role-holder will be responsible for the identification, development, commercialization and launch of new ways to grow the consumer unsecured credit business in AP, working closely with issuers and internal Global counterparts to expand “credit-card” issuance, as well as newer ways of efficiently facilitating the provision of unsecured credit, for example BNPL or other methods.

In addition, the SD, will manage Visa’s cardholder benefits such as merchant and partner benefits, Visa Concierge, Insurance and Visa Luxury Hotel Collection, as well as Core VAS (Value Added Services) service lines such as GCAS (Global Customer Assistance Services), Lounge referrals, Visa Customized Benefits, and the capabilities that support the delivery of these benefits and services. This includes the identification of Visa’s Concierge and Lounge strategy.

As part of this role, the Head of Core Product Management will also be responsible for facilitating the gathering, analysis and promulgation of best practices and recommendations for optimal Core Consumer Product performance both internally within Visa, and as a thought-leader externally, working closely with Visa Consulting & Analytics. 

You will need to be highly collaborative and will be the key interface between the market teams and Visa’s global team to ensure our platforms drive product differentiation, consumer activation and engagement

What will you do?

The IT Application BA shall be involved in strategizing and implementation of the project and initiatives involving the requirement study, procurement, testing, management, implementation, and maintenance support of applications.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of 5 years of IT Application BA experience
• Practical experience with Agile Methodologies, tools and delivery
• Good understanding of Cloud Technology and have attended the related fundamental Cloud Technology trainings
• Experience in Vendor and Contract Management, Change Management/Service Request Management, Problem/Incident Management will be an added advantage
• Experience in supporting Government Projects will be an added advantage
• Experience in supporting/implementing projects with databases ie Oracle and/or Postgres Database, middleware ie weblogic or JBoss or Tomcat as well as exposure in automated software testing will be an added advantage
• Strong analytic, conceptualization and problem solving skillsets will be an added advantage
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written and able to pitch to engage stakeholder will be an added advantage
• Relevant healthcare domain knowledge will be an added advantage
• Experience in supporting applications operations will be an added advantage
