Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee projects and A&A works within the hospital, medical centre, and other associated business units as instructed by the management.
• Track and ensure completion of preventive maintenance works and service contracts for the department.
• Assist in projects and A&A works as assigned by the Head of Department or reporting Supervisor.
• Facilitate and manage assigned projects, ensuring they are completed within given deadlines and budgets.
• Demonstrate independence and resourcefulness, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments and levels.
• Support car park operations and assist in any other duties assigned.
• Manage the work schedule of contractors/vendors to ensure projects are completed within the timeline with minimal disruption to patients and staff.
• Work with colleagues and contractors to ensure all physical plants and equipment are serviced as planned.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Senior Technician/Engineer/Supervisor.

Job Description

a) To report to the Manager or team leader as shown in the organization chart. He/she is responsible for the assigned or related project tasks and responsibilities.

b) The detailed duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

i) Study and fully understand the ISO requirements, technical drawings, scope, contractual requirements and sub-contract agreements. Work with the consultants to resolve technical issues prior to construction.

ii) Submit to superior for feedback and concurrence on short or medium-term programmes and execute the works according to the detailed programme.

vi) Responsible for cost management so that the materials used for both temporary works and permanent works are not damaged or control the wastage within specified tolerance. Rework or abortive work which has serious time and cost impacts shall be avoided.

vii) Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.

Background on the Position

The role will reside within Firm Risk Management’s Risk Regulatory function in the Risk Chief Operating Office. The role is responsible for leading the Asia FRM team engagement with the US, UK & European & Asia Pacific regulators. This includes providing independent review and challenge of all regulatory submissions and providing advice and support to large-scale regulatory remediation projects with respect to regulatory expectations.
