• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
• Drive revenue growth through non-retail channels to achieve sales target with company’s profitability in mind
• Engage potential clients and strategic brand partners to convert sales opportunities
• Manage the day-to-daysupport of sales enquiries and provide prompt response and feedback (within 1 business day)
• Ensure sales’ integrity and maintain price integrity in the market in accordance with company’s policies and SOPs

2. Sales Event Management:

• Plan, lead and execute golf sales events to achieve KPIs and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, commercial, retail operations, and technical support, to ensure efficient planning and excellent execution
• Liaise with partners, brand owners and service provider to ensure seamless coordination
• Oversee sales event as person in charge to ensure smooth operation, work safety, inventory security and customer experience
• Prepare sales event post-mortem to evaluate the performance, outcomes and lessons learned for continuous improvement

3. Client Acquisition and Relationship Building:

• Establish sales network through regular contact with referral sources and generate sales lead
• Build and cultivate a long-term relationship with all clients with an emphasis on good after-sales service
• Build and nurture strong and sincere relationships with priority clients
• Listen to client’s requirements and collaborating with partners to offer personalised solution

4. Budget Management & Performance Monitoring:

• Take ownership of the P&L and budget for all non-retail sales initiatives
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor business development activities against budget and forecast
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports on business development initiatives, successes, and challenges

5. Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

• Work closely with other Heads of Departments, promoting creativity and collaboration. Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with overall company goals
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to optimize outcomes
• Manage relationships with external parties and ensure compliance with enterprise governance frameworks

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained
• Excellent customer service, going for the extra mile to satisfy customers, minimum 5 years in a best-in-class service industry
• Effective interpersonal/ communication skills to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and a self-starter
• Solid business acumen and track record as sales or business development manager
• Self-motivated and highly persistent in follow-up
• Strong internal relationships, and influence stakeholders of different functions and levels
• Experience in golf industry and ability to play golf is optional but a bonus consideration

Job Responsibilities

You will play an important role in:

1) Proposal Management

• Manage administrative tasks related to proposal development to ensure timely and high-quality submissions.
• Help organize the logistics of the proposal process, including meetings and deadlines.

2) Documentation Creation

• Assist in creating client proposals, contracts, and related documents in English and occasionally in Mandarin.
• Gather relevant information to showcase the company’s capabilities in proposals.

3) Team Collaboration

• Work with different departments (finance, project management, marketing) to provide support during the proposal process.
• Facilitate communication among teams to align with client needs.

4) Client Analysis and Meeting Coordination

• Prepare for business meetings by collecting information about clients’ histories and current status.
• Conduct research to understand client industries and market trends.

5) Database Management

• Maintain and update internal databases to keep client and project information accurate and accessible.
• Analyze fee structures across regions to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

6) Administrative Support

• Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings and coordinating proposal presentations.
• Assist in onboarding new clients by preparing introductory materials.

7) Ad-Hoc Tasks

• Handle other tasks as assigned by management, showing flexibility in meeting team needs.
• Help improve proposal processes and documentation based on feedback.

8) Quality Assurance

• Ensure all proposals are proofread and meet company standards before submission.
• Gather feedback after submissions to enhance future proposals.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, we will need you to be:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Marketing, or equivalent Professional Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in related field
• Preferably Executives specializing in Marketing/Business Development or equivalent
• Experience in bids and tendering procedures an advantage
• Added advantage for candidates with extensive network or working experience in the Architecture/Landscape Architecture industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, InDesign an advantage
• Good work ethic, time management, and teamwork
• Self-driven, good interpersonal skills, meticulous, strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
