Responsibilities

• Responsible for the successful & effective project management, implementation and handover within specified schedule, budget and meeting client’s quality, relevant regulatory and safety requirements.
• Responsible for project budget controls, tracking of expenditure and critical scrutiny of contract documents and drawings.
• Communicate effectively & negotiate with consultants, clients, contractors on engineering and contractual matters.
• Strong understanding and effective implementation of project contractual matters.
• Strong technical knowledge in Process Design, Assembly drawing, good management system and teamwork.
• Start up, commissioning, handing over and troubleshooting of plants.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Civil Engineering recognized by the PEB Singapore.
• Minimum 15 years relevant working experience preferably in municipal scale of Wastewater treatment systems / Construction sector / Process Plant.
• Those with relevant knowledge in Project Management, Process Design and Service & Maintenance experience will be an added advantage.
• Possess excellent leadership, planning, good management skills, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills to lead a team of engineers and contractors while liaising with peers and colleagues from various departments. Possess the mental and physical stamina to take on numerous challenging tasks while simultaneously meeting high standards and deadlines / vision.
• Highly motivated, driven by excellence and having an eye for details.
• Proficiency in the use of MS office, MS Project.

Involve in pre and post contracts management process. Responsibility shall include the following:

• Assist in preparation and calling of tender, conducting site showround, evaluation and recommendation of tenders to Clients.
• Assist in drafting and preparing of contractual and costing matter ensuring compliance with relevant laws
• Liaise and coordinate with contracts, vendors, clients, users, project and operation teams and consultants on the contractual matters including payment claims, change orders, variation orders, extension of time, etc.
• Assist in preparation of progress and variation payment claims, variation orders, extension of time, etc
• Prepare contract documentation and agreements, as well as to provide support and assist in drafting of specifications, bills of quantities and other tender requirements
• Timely update and track all contracts and project status
• Assist in contractual matters, tendering and procurement procedures (eg. Contracts, cost control, cash flow, project budgeting, administrations, claims and cost analysis)
• Preparing and monitoring of project cost budget, cash-flow for project, track changes in work and adjust budget projections accordingly
• Prepare and finalisation of main and subcontracts
• Other secondary tasks as assigned by Manager
• Experience in Building Facilities Maintenance and A&A works related Contract is preferred

Job Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Building / Project and Facilities Management / Building Facilities Management / Contracts Management / Quantity Surveying or equivalent (Fresh Graduate is welcome)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience
• Occasional traveling outside Singapore will be required.
• Proficiency in English is a must.
• Knowledge with the usage of MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), MS Projects
• Able to work in both team and independently in fast paced environment

Responsibilities:

The Business Process Manager is part of the global Process Management team. The team plays a pivotal role in enabling and supporting ASM’s growth ambition for the coming years.

Key role of the Process Management team is to support process owners and process experts to define, maintain and improve their processes, including roles & responsibilities, key process metrics an end-to-end integration.

Your key focus areas are:

• Train, coach and assist process experts and other stakeholders in building and refining their processes in BPMN;
• Assist process experts and other stakeholders in identification and operationalization of KPIs of their processes to drive continuous improvement;
• Support maintenance of the process management framework elements such as process taxonomy (APQC), modeling style guide, etc.;
• Work together with other specialists in Process Mining, Master Data Management, Business Intelligence Analytics, Automation and Change Management to identify and realize process improvements;
• Be an active role model in a global ASM community to promote continuous improvement.

Requirements

As Business Process Manager you are proactive and execute with pace, elegance, and urgency. It is key that you can quickly build trust and rapport with various stakeholders, combined with excellent communication skills.

Further you will have:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, in the domains of Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Business Process Management and/or Change Management;
• Academic level (Minimum a Bachelor's or Master’s degree), Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt) certification;
• Proven experience with process improvement and -design, preferably engineering-, manufacturing- and supply chain processes.
• Hands-on experience with BPMN, Process Mining and Master Data Management;
• Good business acumen, experience in a supporting role, for example advising business leaders and global process owners;
• Strong analytical, planning and organization skills, ability to thrive despite uncertainty and a changing environment;
• Fluency in English (speaking and writing) with the ability to influence across a global organization within a diverse and multicultural environment.
