Our Corporate Bank Technology team is a global team of 3000 coders (and growing!) across 30 countries. The primary businesses that Corporate Bank support are Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance and Trust & Agency Services. CB Technology support these businesses through CIO aligned teams and also by 'horizontals' such as Client Connectivity, Surveillance and Regulatory, Infrastructure, Architecture, Production, and Risk & Control.
Trade Finance & Lending: Trade Finance Technology is responsible for the application development for international documentary payments, ie collections, letters of credit, guarantees, foreign trade financing for corporate clients and institutional investors, for both importers and exporters. Product examples include unstructured and structured trade finance, loan and credit distribution solutions.

Your key responsibilities:
As part of our global team, you will work business SMEs, Product owners, Technical teams as a business Functional Analyst. The Lead Business Functional Analyst is responsible for analyzing the requirements and requests from the Documentary Trade business as well as identifying and assessing change needs. The Lead Business Functional Analyst captures and documents requirements, analyses the impact of changes and supports the business throughout the implementation process. They are required to understand the business requirements and map the same to system functionalities.
- Manages requirements using Agile framework i.e. user stories and help drive the agile process forward by participation in backlog grooming, sprint planning, QA, etc.
- Responsible for supporting the testing requirements together with the QA Team.
- Supports the design and conceptualization of new business. solution options and articulates identified impacts and risks.
- Assures that the Product Backlog Items respect Definition of Ready before entering in the Sprint Backlog.
- Works closely with Scrum Master to ensure a proper number of Items enter into Sprint Backlog.
- Supports the Business Analysis Specialists, Product Owners, on the prioritization of change requests.
- Outline business value of each requirement together with Business Functional Analyst and Product Owners and continuously engages with Engineering, POs and Journey experts to ensure development is aligned to what is required.
- Evaluating dependences, interfaces and specifying inputs and formatting outputs to meet the business's needs.
- Responsible for defining Non-Functional Requirements.
- Self-motivated and flexibility to work autonomously coupled with ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organizations including appreciation of different cultures during collaborating and sharing.
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant business functional analyst role in a banking domain and related support functions including understanding of products, business, and operational processes.
- Experience in Trade Finance domain related to Documentary Trade (LC’s), Bank Guarantees, Documentary Collections
- Ability to write BDD tests and SQL query.
- Drives data discovery, sourcing, analytics to support the creation of data flows for new development and supporting any production incidents. Working closely with Product Owners and Stakeholders along with maintaining product backlogs and driving release content throughout via prioritized stories.
- Understanding of the SDLC lifecycle and Agile processes. Experience in writing user stories in Jira, use of Confluence.
- Understanding of executing projects in agile (scrum) methodology
- Experience in conceptualization and solution definition
- Good analytical and problem-solving experience.
- Good communication skills.
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
