Looking for enrolled/assistant nurse to work in an orthopaedic specialist clinic. Job scope includes assisting doctor in running the clinic including registration of patients, answering phone calls, clinic paperwork, assist in arranging for surgery and do wound dressing , typing case notes for doctor during consultation, etc.

Main Responsibilities

• To develop and maintain a high quality of nursing care in terms of wounds care and sports injuries in the Clinics
• To participate in the development and implementation of policies and protocols which safeguard children, promote healthy outcomes
• To collaborate and develop strong links with pastoral care colleagues such as counselors, house parents and teachers.
• To take an active role in the education and promotion of health and medical issues to students and staff on an individual and group basis.
• Liaise and follow up with the school medical provider.

• Assist the Medical Director in the consultation room and procedures both in & outside the Centre.
• Assist in laser refractive procedures and other minor procedures.
• Maintain stocks & inventory of surgical consumables and upkeep of operating theatre and instrument sterility.
