Head of the Deck Dept, designated safety officer, responsible for safe and efficient planning & conduct of cargo and ballast handling operations. Member of the Bridge team and navigating officer of the watch for the vessel operating in Singapore waters and in International waters.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In the absence of the Master, the C/O is in command of the vessel and assumes the Master's responsibilities.

The Chief Officer is responsible to the Master for:

· Acting as the Deck department team leader in an emergency/crisis response situation

· Maintaining the upkeep of the hull, deck fixtures, fittings, crew accommodation areas (including toilets, washrooms, galley/mess), forecastles and Bosun's storerooms which must be kept in a clean and tidy condition

· Maintaining discipline within the deck department

· Maintaining an up to date and accurate record of deck maintenance

The Role

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Senior/Account Manager who desires to help dynamic technology clients make their mark on the world, and, in doing so, help build Bud into the leading comms agency for challenger tech brands.

• A keen interest and passion for disruptive brands
• Experience in leading client accounts, client meetings and ensuring accounts are on track, organised and delivering value for our clients

• Copywriting skills: You need to be hot on spelling & grammar as well as have a creative flair for producing engaging and intelligent copy.
• Presentation skills: From communicating ideas to your team to presenting stories to journalists, you need to organise information in a concise and engaging way to capture their attention.
• Effective organisation and project management skills: You will play a critical role in ensuring we stay on track with project timelines and deliverables.
• Media Expertise: You can spot a news story, craft a media angle and run the press office with panaché.
• Strong interpersonal skills: Whether it’s over the phone, by email or in person, at Bud we’re all about people, so you need to be approachable, friendly and empathetic and be able to relate to people on different levels within the agency, with clients, partners and with the media.

• Assist in shortlisting and recommending suitable tutor profiles to parents
• Coordinate & arrange 1st tuition lesson between client and tutors

Job Description:

Security Administration:

• Manage access control systems (keys, cards, security codes, etc)
• Coordinate visitor registration and badge issuance
• Check security cameras, and recorders and report any breakdown activity
• Assist with emergency preparedness procedures and evacuation drills

Administrative Support:

• Provide administrative support to the Facilities & Security team
• Oversee the Contracts, Licenses, and Calibration certificates to always ensure validity before expiration.
• Manage and maintain facility and security related documents and records
• Respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding facilities and security matters
• Coordinate servicing schedule and prepare purchase quotes for the Facilities and Security team

Minimum Qualification & Experience required

• Must be able to work independently and communicate well with various departments to support their purchases/upkeeping of equipment and tools
• Good communication skills and pro-active attitude in problem solving
• Experience in ISO documentation and good knowledge of Microsoft Excel will be an added advantage
• Possess good communication skills and good negotiation skills
