RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fire Safety - Perform the role of Senior Fire Safety Manager (FSM) for the OSS and assist in ensuring all necessary and relevant fire safety-related operations such as training, education, and outreach, fire safety framework, emergency response plans, CERT operations and validation exercises such as fire-drills are organised and conducted as per required by regulatory bodies. Must have a demonstrated track record in:
• Ensuring successful fire safety certification for a Tier 1 installation;
• Leading and maintaining fire-fighting response capabilities in accordance to CERT requirements;

• Safety Consulting for Student Events
• The incumbent will form part of a key group of staff who will be responsible in providing timely safety consultation, management and oversight for the various activities and events organised by students and student groups under the various offices from SMUs Centres and Institutes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilizes advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment and grounds. • Provide operational security administration including creating and implementing user-defined rules according to requirements.

Your day-to-day

• Oversee the security department including their performance, key job responsibilities and regular training;
