• Liaise with external / Internal parties to maintain, for all the automated controlling system in the production areas (eg. PLC and DCS), Building Maintenance System (BMS) and Maintenance Management System (MMS).
• Trouble-shoot and take corrective action for electrical/instrument equipment failures / breakdowns in order to minimise production downtime. This refers to more serious / repetitive problems.
• Plan and implement of preventive and predictive maintenance program (electrical/instrument aspects) for new equipment / facility. This includes the setting-up and organising the calibration and validation of instrument to meet FDA requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation or related subjects
• Minimum 2 years related experience in the chemical process or pharmaceuticals industry.
• Sound working knowledge on major electrical system (eg. Transformers,
