What you will be working on
- Collaborate with landlords, tenants, and legal teams to handle lease management matters, including negotiating rents, drafting leasing agreements, and addressing feedback/complaints.
- Identify and evaluate innovative solutions to enhance building yields, conducting financial feasibility studies on building and asset enhancement projects.
- Formulate, review, and update the Board's space management policy, assessing space requests, and allocating space to internal stakeholders and external tenants.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on building performance, occupancy statistics, imputed rents, and provide advisory services to internal users on internal charging.
- Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, rental rates, and property values.
- Ensure compliance with lease terms, regulations, and legal requirements.
- Assess and negotiate lease renewals, extensions, and terminations.
- Coordinate property inspections and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with lease agreements.
- Provide guidance on space utilisation, allocation, and reconfiguration based on organisational needs.
- Monitor and manage lease-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Implement technology solutions to enhance lease and space management efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and implement improvements to optimize lease and space management processes.
What we are looking for
- At least 8 years of work experience in lease management, real estate, or property management
- Demonstrated track record of lease negotiations and management.
- Familiarity with space management policies and practices.
- Good knowledge of lease agreements, property laws, and regulations.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience in conducting feasibility studies and financial analysis.
- Proficient in handling datasets with a meticulous and systematic approach, ensuring accuracy in reported statistics.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Adaptability to industry changes and evolving best practices.
The successful candidate will hold the corporate title of Manager/Senior Manager/Assistant Director, with seniority based on individual work experiences.
