Job Purpose:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial management and reporting activities of the company, including budget planning, financial analysis, and providing strategic financial advice to support the executive management team in making informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management and Reporting:

• Manage the accounting processes for Singapore operations, including documentation and all related entries, such as posting General Journals.

Stakeholder Management:

• Maintain up-to-date finance and audit schedules and work closely with auditors and tax agents to provide necessary documentation for annual financial audits.
• Supervise and support the Associate Accountant and finance team to ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all accounts.

Ad-hoc Responsibilities:

• Complete various surveys for the Department of Statistics, BCA, and other regulatory bodies.
• Assist the CFO with Board matters, such as resolutions for guarantees, ad-hoc reports, and investment activities, including due diligence, feasibility studies, legal reviews, M&A, and JV assessments.
• Oversee the Accpac accounting system, troubleshoot any issues, and provide support to the organization

The Data Center Operation technician has overall responsibility to support the troubleshooting and

coordinating activities pertaining to the day-to-day support of the data centers and critical facilities. He/She is responsible for troubleshooting, managing the vendors/contractors and report to the Data Center Operation Site Lead.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of contractors or vendors and support in the daily data centre operations
• Perform data centre operations and inspections including monitoring and management for infrastructure systems, DC environment and facilities
• Monitor critical facilities and infrastructure system alerts and perform necessary escalation
• Perform incident management and escalation pertaining to any facilities and system downtime
• Manage and administer the service desk operations
• Ensure the implementation of safe systems on site activities.
• Liaison with UOB BUs in regard to utilities, building services / facilities and systems issues
• Assist in the planning and execution of disaster recovery activities
• Administer and ensure building records, licenses, permit and etc are properly documented.
• Ensure procedures, processes and service level are being followed for any service delivery and operations
• Periodic review of the data centre operations and report any gaps and issues
• Prepare and update of Data Centre and Service Desk monthly report
• Maintain the site asset database, provide updates in accordance with CMMS requirements.

Education & Experience:

• Possess a Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
• Possess Data Centre Certifications such as Certified Data Centre Professional
• Possess at least 3 years’ experience in Data Centre Operations, Facilities Monitoring & Management
• Familiar with Data Centre facilities including Computer Room Air-Con (CRAC), fire suppression system, water detection system, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) and etc
• Familiar with Service Desk operations and incident management process
• Basic understanding on the operation of MEP systems

What this job involves:

Assisting in the day-to-day operations

You will be assisting the immediate superior in the day-to-day operations of the for the assigned facility. This includes undertaking any duties assigned by the Management or the Immediate Superior. You will be managing all electrical and mechanical works in the premises and attend to client’s requests on technical matters. You will also be attending to any client’s complaints as well as manage and record the technical inventory.

Being responsible

You will be conducting daily or routine checks on essential equipment to ensure that they are operating in a satisfactory condition at all times. This also includes carrying out meter readings on operating equipment for energy consumption. You will also conduct regular inspections with term contractors (e.g. mechanical, electrical, fire protection systems, etc) to ensure that the services are carried out in accordance to the standards set by OMS/ Management.

We want to ensure that the clients are provided with high standards of service at all times. Being responsible also means that you will operate/ maintain all equipment within the premises to ensure all equipment are in working condition – equipment could include low tension switchgears, air-conditioning equipment, plumbing and sanitary equipment.

Assisting the Assistant Facilities Manager

You will be assisting the Facilities Manager in the supervision of appointed term contracts (e.g. mechanical, electrical, fire protection systems, etc). You will also assist the Assistant Facilities Manager in any other facilities related work and client’s request such as common inventory, cleaning inspection, vendor escorts, etc. When there are potential issues, you will assist in performing facilities office inspection and report to the immediate superior.

You have at least a Higher NITEC/NITEC in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in handling building. It would be an advantage for you if you have LEW Grade 7.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

OVERALL ROLE

This position is to assist the Operations Manager in the day-to-day operation.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attend / Response customer phone calls, emails, support tickets and collect customer requests and data
• Understanding networks and provide product information
• Patching of switches, servers, and other ICT equipment
• Updating Patch Manager records according to the Vendors Reports
• Solve common problems such as verification of hardware and software, installation issues, and setup
• Checking data centre racking / unracking and cabling
• Escort and manage the Vendors and organizing the works schedule
• Coordinating with other departments and interactions with clients
• Checking the comms rooms conditions and conduct routine inspections
• Managing all cabling and IT hardware installation/decommissioning tasks and coordinate with the Vendors for executing the works

• Assist Account Lead to manage the services, day to day liaising with Tenant and resolving issues
