Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve set and agreed financial and non-financial goals.
- Lead new product launches, including marketing campaigns such as trade shows and factory visits.
- Build and strengthen customer relationships.
- Conduct team and staff training and development, including performance reviews and termination.
- Own SBU budget planning and provide support required by BU and Group levels.
- Provide monthly and YTD performance reviews/updates to BU and Group, including YTD forecasts.
- Manage AR collection with a target of 60 days =< 30%.
- Ensure smooth and efficient process flow, consistently seeking opportunities for continuous operations improvement to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
Job Descriptions:
- Manage the import and export of parts and component to local and overseas clients.
- Develop resources/suppliers for new OEMs and other requirements of affiliates companies.
- Liaise with key counterparts in Indonesia, like PTUT and Singapore, like UTHI, for parts handling and reshipments.
- Maintain strong relationship with principals and clients for on-going supply of parts & components for both overseas and local contacts.
- Develop and guide subordinates on the documentations for import and export shipments.
- Oversee and lead sales teams for local business in parts and component trading.
- Develop and lead warehousing management to the warehousing/logistic team.
- Coordinate with overseas subsidiaries (MEV, GLS, MPPI) on principals, inventory financing, and shipments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly review reports and cash flow updates.
- Support Management/General Manager with other ad-hoc duties from time to time that includes the involvement in safety and health matters, handling the Battery Acid license and other accreditation requirements, etc.
- Source and propose new products as business opportunity that assists to grow the parts and trading business.
- Support the Truck Crane Service business as assigned from time to time.
- Assist with the sales of old inventory to best bid and buyer.
- Coordinate the annual stock take arrangement with auditor’s accounts and logistics team along with respective MMS staff involved.
- Oversee and deliver the right desired results for any other ad hoc assignments given.
People Management
- Supervise and lead by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed.
- Drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement.
- Cultivate a team atmosphere by working with the team to achieve the company's targets and objectives
- Constantly review team and individual competencies to ensure everyone is equipped with the proper knowledge, skills and tools to carry out their work effectively and efficiently. Propose any required trainings to management for their development.
Relationship Management
- Liaise with customers (internal & external) and suppliers to gather feedback and develop solutions to resolve business issues and share essential information to management
- Maintain a transparent and timely communications with all stakeholders to ensure high level of support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia will be an advantage, to communicate with Indonesia clients.
- Has at least 3-5 years of departmental managerial experiences, preferably in sales & marketing and in the components cum building materials industry.
- Warehousing & logistic experiences will be a “plus” factor.
- Strong leadership skills cum experiences.
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Has import & export experiences
- Proficient with inventory software and systems (good to have)
