• Oversee and manage large-scale civil engineering and reclamation projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication between the site and head office to ensure smooth project execution
• Analyze, plan, and monitor construction methods including earthworks, soil improvement, drainage systems, and reclamation works

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 12 years of experience in civil engineering and construction management, particularly in large-scale international projects, including earthworks, reclamation, and infrastructure projects in A1 MNC Construction firm is mandatory for this position
• Strong experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, cost estimation, and progress monitoring
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced construction techniques, including soil improvement methods, artificial islands, and heavy civil works
• Proven experience in coordinating with multinational teams and managing diverse stakeholders in overseas projects

Duties of Quantity Surveyor :

• Cost Evaluation: Conduct technical evaluations, prepare Bills of Quantity (BOQ), and perform cost analysis for projects.
• Supplier & Subcontractor Management: Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors according to project requirements.
• Drawing Review: Review architectural and electrical drawings; prepare and revise designs using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Electrical Load Calculation: Calculate maximum electrical demand, including lighting, power consumption, and energy requirements.
• Design & Drafting: Design and draft electrical service layouts such as lighting, power, cableways, and create related diagrams.
• As-Built Drawings: Prepare and update As-Built drawings for completed projects.

Assist & support project site operations and ensure timely completion of electrical work activities.

Awareness in electrical hazards & safety knowledge

Proactive routine services, repairs, replace of spares, consumable materials, items and components

to all systems and equipment to ensure that they are operational.

Perform daily operational activities which includes attending to customers' enquiries, needs and complaints.

Inspect and maintain site electrical equipment.

Documented all scheduled routine findings and rectification.

Attend to all work orders issued by the operations and management.

Liaising and co-ordinating with site personnel, third party and external contractor.
