Requirements

• 1 – 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in education operations settings will be an advantage
• Degree in Education, Business Administration or other related disciplines
• Good communication in English and Malay (verbal and written) with excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be strong in operations and motivated by such nature of work
• Driven, resourceful and proactive individual who is able to work independently, but a strong team player
• Sound decision-making and keen problem-solving skills
• Task-driven individual, with a strong sense of ownership
• Has a good ability to multi-task
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc)
• Prior experience in teaching or in Education programme operations role is an advantage

Responsibilities :

• Communication: Clearly communicating goals, expectations, and processes to the team
• Managing workflow: Creating schedules, delegating tasks, and managing employee performance
• Safety management: Implementing safety procedures and regulations, ensuring the security of everyone on site, and ensuring the use of personal protective equipment
• Leadership qualities: Ensuring facilities are safe and in good condition at all times
• Reporting to senior management: Reporting on team member performance and providing feedback to team members
• Monitoring safety hazards: Assessing safety hazards, determining the likelihood of an accident, and conducting regular inspections
• Accountability: Ensuring employee accountability by being aware of employee work assignments and productivity

Responsibilities of a supervisor :

• Training and onboarding new hires
• Ensuring that business goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects
• Ordering and managing construction materials
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting issues that may interrupt the project's timeline or budget

Job Description:

• Ensure at all times that fire safety requirements contained in the Emergency Response Plan are complied with;
• Supervise the maintenance of all fire safety works in the premises;
• Ensure at all times that the occupant load of any part of any building does not exceed the capacity prescribed under the Fire Code;
• Conduct daily checks within the premises and remove or cause to be removed any fire hazard that is found within the premises;
• Prepare and execute the Emergency Response Plan for the premises and distribute the Emergency Response Plan to the occupants of the premises; (ii) conduct fire drills for the occupants of the premises at least twice in every calendar year or on such occasion as may be directed by the Commissioner;
• Ensure that all occupants are familiar with the means of escape located within the premises;
• Prepare fire safety guidebooks for the occupants of the premises; train, co-ordinate and supervise the Company Emergency Response Team for the premises in first-aid, fire-fighting and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies;
• Train the occupants in the premises in first aid, firefighting and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies;
• Co-ordinate and supervise the occupants within the premises in firefighting and in evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies;
• Conduct at least 2 Table-Top Exercises within the premises each year and to evaluate, together with the Fire Safety Committee, the effectiveness of the Arson Prevention Plan and the Emergency Response Plan for those premises;
• Prepare and implement the Arson Prevention Plan for the premises;
• Organise campaigns, training courses, competitions, contests and other activities which will develop and maintain the interest of the occupants within the premises in establishing a fire safe environment;

Requirement:

• Must have valid Fire Safety Manager certification
• Preferably with 2 to 3 years' experience as a Fire Safety Manager or related experience in a similar capacity
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint

8. Exhibit unwavering flexibility, working extended hours, weekends, and frequently traveling between sites.

Project Oversight:Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
Review project plans and specifications to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.

Team Management:Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors.
Recruit, train, and evaluate new crew members.
Conduct regular team meetings and provide training sessions as needed.

Safety and Compliance:Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations on-site.
Perform routine site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Stay updated with advancements in construction safety codes and regulations.

Quality Control:Monitor construction processes to ensure quality work is delivered on time.
Conduct equipment and material inspections to maintain high standards.
