The Candidate will be responsible to set up the Medical Affairs of NUHS@Home, develop strategies to enhance the effectiveness of its clinical quality program within the organisation and to identify and work on developing quality models, design and implementation of audits and risk management activities.

Job Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)

- Set up and run the following QA and clinical services committees in functions such as organising meetings, preparing relevant reports for meetings, recording minutes, and ensuring that follow-up actions are taken after the meetings.

• Collaborate closely with relevant data/ operations teams to ascertain the precision and validity of data, facilitating the timely submission of the performance indicators report to the Ministry of Health.

- Ensure that drafts for new or revised clinical forms, e.g., consent forms and clerking forms, are vetted by hospital lawyer if necessary and approved by GCMB/ Clinical Lead in a timely manner.

- Conduct JCI / ESS (or equivalent) activities.

- Conducting clinical audits for various clinical work processes, case notes audit / review, audits on problem cases and ad-hoc audits.

- Oversee the monitoring of mortality and morbidity reporting ensuring 100% reporting rate.

- Compile and analyse data and generate annual reports.

Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)

- Coordinate activities for Hospital Licensing Exercise and serve as liaison person for any queries on hospital licensing. (if required)

- Assist in preparing budget proposal (if required)

- Other Medical Affairs Activities

• Prepare presentations for HO / MO orientation (if required)

- Prepare papers for Medical Board, NUHS Board and MOH as and when required.

- Any other assigned duties.

Job Requirements

- Possess Bachelor’s degree with experience in a hospital setting

- Experience in Quality Management/Assurance in an acute care hospital will be an added advantage

- Computer skills in Words, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

- Basic statistical skills

- Keen interest in developing databases and reports relating to clinical QA

- Strong interpersonal skills, be meticulous, self-initiated and independent

Roles & Responsibilities

• To monitor and supervise sub-contractors work progression according to shop drawings, method statements, materials, and samples.
• To liaise and work with relevant authorities, sub-contractors, or clients on shop drawings, materials, and samples.
• Carry out work scheduling, material requisition, cost control, and project supervision to ensure compliance with regulations and project requirements.
• Document and manage the technical datasheets, specifications, and all piping-related documents.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth progress of works.
• Identify challenges, mitigate risks, and ensure that safety regulations are being compiled on-site.
• Prepare inspection reports for material & site installation inspection.
• Attend site coordination meetings when necessary.

Job Requirements

• Preferably candidate with 5 years of relevant working experience in the Construction Industry.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM/Revit would be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and target-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with project teams and managers at all levels.
• Will be based at the project site office.

Responsibilities include:

-Ensure that the restaurant and kitchen is properly maintained and clean
-Oversee food preperations, presentation and storage to ensure food health and safety compliency.

About the Centre for Research in Health Systems Performance (CRiHSP)

Optimizing the performance of health systems is essential to ensuring the wellbeing and longevity of populations worldwide. Singapore is particularly well placed to lead research in this field as its health system has been consistently ranked as one of the best in the world based in independent evaluation with the Global Burden of Disease data. The new Centre for Research in Health Systems Performance (CRiHSP) aims to advance research in this area within the National University Health System and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine of the National University of Singapore (NUS) as the leading centre for research in health systems in Asia with the core functions of research, health pòlicy intelligence, capacity building and evaluation.

The multidisciplinary team of researchers in health systems (health services and policy researchers, data scientists, social scientists, and others), and administrators working in CRiHSP will provide an exciting and dynamic place in which people of diverse backgrounds collaborate towards the common goal of achieving excellence in Health Systems Research.

About the role

This role is to support the lead administrator in all CRiHSP’s research oriented activities to achieve its overarching mission. He/she will play a key role in supporting the Centre in its daily operations.

The Executive/Sr Executive will have the following duties:

1. Research Operations

Provide support in required financial functions, including grant management, aligning with NUS policies and coordinating with relevant internal and/or external stakeholders.
Coordinate the development and execution of agreements for research collaborations.
Assist the Centre PIs with ethical compliance matters, such as preparing ethics board applications and preparing for audits.
Assist the Centre PIs in preparing grant applications and progress reports.
Track research project outcomes and grant utilisation on a regular basis – providing summary reports to update the Centre Director and other PIs.

2. Secretariat Support

Support the Assistant Manager in organising the Centre’s teaching and research workshops to upskill the NUHS community on health services research and evaluation.
Arrange and coordinate regular meetings within the Centre and with its various stakeholders.
Assist the Assistant Manager with the Centre’s communication strategy, including the preparation of communication and publicity materials for the Centre.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work.

• Minimum a Degree in Science or or equivalent fields
• At least 2 years of working experience in a research or academic organisation.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Highly developed problem-solving skills and adept at managing complex problems
