Job Description:

• Coordination of schedule for internal fabrication including cutting list and materials preparation
• Follow schedule and ensure output of productions are completed
• Quality control and quantity analysis for internal fabrication
• Stock take and stock inventory list update
• Procurement of stock items for internal factory
• Internal fabrication works as required
• Ensure quality and output by performing QA/ QC inspections
• Propose rectification methods where applicable
• Any other duties as assigned by management
• Able to work with long working hours, weekend and public holiday to rush on project deadline

Experience in managing a workforce of sub-contractors / workers and directing them in Structure fabrication and installation.

o Able to lead in give safety / quality tool box talks before start of work

o Able to lead/chair daily discussions with sub-contractor supervisors for daily progress updates

· Ability to resolve production related issues due to engineering or site clashes. (Understanding TQR requirements)

· Able to understand, plan and execute construction sequence and drive site installation as per planned construction sequence.

· Ability to communicate effectively, coordinate site activities between different trades to achieve structural completion as per planned construction sequence.

· Monitor and control material management on site so as to ensure proper storage and unnecessary wastage.

· Understanding Resource planning and management.

· Good inter-personal skills and able to interact and resolve issues with client’s site supervision daily

· Computer literacy – MS Excel for reporting.

· Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Marine Offshore/equivalent

Job Responsibility

• Assist Project Manager (PM) on planning to ensure that materials, manpower, machineries, Authorities approval and site conditions are ready before the work starts.
• Plan and Schedule work sequences for construction operation together with PM
• Liaise with consultants, client & main / sub-contractors, authorities and coordinate for site activities arrangement
• Supervise work for the contract, perform site inspection and ensure that the work are carried out based on the project specification and construction drawing / final approved drawing from authorities
• Preparation of progress report, Method Statements and technical submissions together with PM
• Preparation of shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Receive, review, update and issue latest revised drawing to project team.
• Prepare and monitor RFI for technical details.
• Attend daily toolbox meeting if necessary.
• Update Project managers about the progress, plans and challenges.
• Prepare all RA, MOS, SWP drawings for the client to review.
• Prepare supporting documents for progress claims.
• Any ad hoc duties as per assigned by consultants, client and management.
• Cover Duty when Project Manager is on leave.

Job Requirement

• Candidate must possess Minimum Engineering Diploma and/or Bachelor in Civil Engineer recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB)
• Experience and knowledge in 2D / 3D AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
• Min 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Working experience in LTA/PUB Waterpipe Line Project will be an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines to support the project teams.
• Detail-oriented, well organized and able to work with minimum supervision
• Perform as a good team player
• Meticulous and able to work independently
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays and night shift if necessary.
