Job Description for M&E Manager

• Project Management on all company projects in M&E services design, cost, technical and authority matters.
• Oversee and manage the M&E aspects of construction projects, including mechanical, electrical, fire protection and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Supervise and provide guidance to M&E Engineers & Inspector of Works.
• Manage sub-con/in progress production planning & build
• Assess M&E contractors progress and variation order claims
• Review and approve M&E designs and plans to ensure they meet project specifications and comply with local codes and regulations.
• Value engineering on design proposals to optimise the cost and to ensure best practices are applied in the projects.
• Keeping track on variation and claims of contract and cost impact, report information to Project Manager.
• Monitoring M&E services variation works and costs during construction stage to ensure within budget.
• Attend client consultant meeting & involve in pre-tender estimation and tender process for award of Contractors.
• Identify and address any technical issues or challenges related to M&E systems during the construction process.
• Knowledge of relevant local and international building codes and standards.
• Experience in coordinating with regulatory agencies and ensuring compliance.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Construction Engineering or other building-related disciplines
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in building and construction projects
• Working knowledge in BIM model software
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
• Have Main Contractor Experience.

Job Description

• Reports to the senior management.
• Responsible for overall implementation and completion of projects within scheduled cost, time and quality.
• Lead the team in planning and execution of day to day operations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, relevant authorities and sub-contractors to ensure smooth completion of the projects.
• Prepare, review and submit all detailed programmes, schedule, method statement, technical proposal, risk assessment plans.
• Monitor projects progress and updating of reports to the management.
• Conduct regular internal, subcontractor and site safety meeting.
• Ensure housekeeping and quality in all work areas.
• Conduct factory visit as and when necessary.

Job Requirements

• Minimum BCA-recognised Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Construction Management/Architecture/Building or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management in a Singapore construction and Fit-Out Project
• Possess relevant construction safety certificates (CSCPM, BCSS, etc).
• Possess analytical mindset, independent, self-starter, positive working attitude, takes ownership and a highly responsible individual.
• Resourceful problem solver.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Able to lead the project team.
• Well-versed in AutoCAD.
• Able to communicate well in English.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent will be an added advantage.
