About the Role:

As a seasoned leader in the construction industry, the Project Director / GM will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, reporting directly to the Managing Director. This pivotal role demands a blend of strategic insight, operational expertise, and strong organizational and communication skills to drive the successful completion of projects aligned with company's business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Oversight: Provide leadership and direction to teams on tendering, execution, and project completion, ensuring alignment with budgets and timelines.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate closely with General Managers across Engineering, MEP, Commercial, Contracts, and Finance & Administration divisions to streamline operations, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
• Strategic Planning: Partner with the Corporate Planning Team to craft and execute the company’s strategic plan, achieving both short-term and long-term goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A recognized Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering or equivalent, preferably accredited by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore or Board of Architects.
• At least 20 years of practical experience, with 10 years in a Senior Management role within Building Projects Construction Management for a main contractor.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of managing and guiding departmental heads.
• Certification in Construction Safety Course for Project Managers.
• Strong understanding of local authority requirements and engineering standards.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• To resolve all public relation related issues arises from project
• Manage and attending to public or resident’s complaints, enquiries, requests, feedback and etc.
• Liaise with various government bodies and stakeholders e.g. LTA, HDB, Town Council, residents, consultants, contractors etc.
• Arranging for water test, conditional surveys and defect works within the residents units
• Issuing of notices or service cards to residents regarding upcoming works schedule, work progress, power interruption, closure of car parks / roads and etc.
• Attend weekly / monthly progress meetings and walkabouts
• Preparation and submission of weekly updates and monthly PR reports
• Assist client in running of PR programmes especially during festive session

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mass Communication, Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years of experience in handling public project. Experience with MOHH will be an added advantage.
• Possessed matured personality with good understanding of construction activities

Responsibilities

• Assist to implement and maintain the Quality Management system
• Prepares site reports whenever necessary or monthly

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma (3 years’ experience) in Electrical installation or related engineering
• Strong fundamentals in motors, sensors, power supplies, and electro-mechanical engineering
• Experience in engineering projects and site installation
• Able to read schematic diagrams
• Understanding of electro-mechanical systems with particular emphasis on mechanical system dynamics, control system, etc. are desired
• Able to work on site to perform design verification where required
• Good communicator with ability to communicate technical clarification with external parties
• Be a team member to work with cross-functional teams
• Proactive, positive attitude and a team player.
• Experience in HV and LV switch boards installation
• Preferably having Experience in PUB projects
