Job Description

As Manager of the Programming & Outreach team, you will manage the President*s Design Award (P*DA), from the planning and execution of the major milestones, to conceptualising strategies and programmes that recognise and celebrate Singapore’s top design talents and amplify their impact to the wider society.

You will be the driving force behind P*DA

This means you will manage:

• The entire P*DA cycle, covering the major milestones including the Call for Entries, Jury Session and Award Ceremony
  The development and production of content, including the P*DA publication, videos and other online and offline materials, as well as local and international P*DA outreach programmes
  All procurements related to P*DA
  Impact studies and other types of measures that will tell us how well we are running our programmes.
  

You will build great partnerships in Singapore and overseas

This means you will:

• Engage a wide range of stakeholders, including the P*DA co-organisers in URA, the award recipients and their clients, the wider design community, jurors, educational institutions, industry associations, other government agencies and also other teams within Dsg.
• Work with diverse international partners to collaborate on programmes to profile our P*DA recipients on the world stage!

Who you are:

• A degree holder with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in programming, outreach, events management, marketing or project management

• Possess excellent communication and presentation skills

• To beef up the Trade Banking Channels team with Business Analyst to work on projects and
• Application support of Trade Finance global releases
• To work closely with Paris Business Analyst team and coordinate on requirements gathering, impact analysis and functional specifications for the enhancements and issues reported in production. Business Analyst is also responsible to define the test scope of SIT, UAT, and NRT and validating test outcomes with the users and testers.

Direct Responsibilities

• To ensure the business/operational objectives of the new business requirements are well defined via:
• Performing systematic business analysis,
• Validating business requirements to align with business/operations needs as well as IT architecture and security standards.
• Designing functional solutions & user workflows and documenting Functional Specifications.
• To walkthrough requirement and proposed solutions to all stakeholders and get it reviewed and signoff.
• To develop SIT/UAT/NRT scope and approach. To guide Testing team in writing test scenarios/cases and review to get signoff from stakeholders. To rationalize test cases when needed to match with available resources and target timeline.
• To validate SIT test results produced by testing team to signoff.
• To assist users in planning/executing UAT, analyzing defects, and defining defects priority for fix delivery by development team.
• Documenting/reviewing user manuals and release notes as required
• Assist in providing tactical/strategic solutions for new client requirements
• Assist in the conversion/migration exercise where necessary

For production defects, perform functional analysis and propose solutions.

Ensure Bank compliance policies and CIB ITO APAC standards/practices are strictly followed.

• Represent Operations & IT in the preparation for approval committees for exceptional transaction or new activities committees (TAC / NAC)
• To manage Objectives towards Outsourcing activities

1. to liaise with Onshore teams and review the IT architecture and data flows
2. to coordinate with PMOs and Outsourcing teams on preparing the requisite documentation in accordance to company standards
3. Liaise with all stakeholders for requisite approvals

Act as a Subject Matter Expert on end to end processes:

• Bring expertise on the end to end process with a strong focus on improving the efficiency of the Operating Model
• Develop a clear vision of the target processes including innovation / digital as the case may be

Should also contribute to project manager role, and work closely with Product managers, Operation teams (both middle and backoffice) and IT business analysts to rationalize the scope and business case for the project proposal. Present the solutions for steering committee approval

Communicate regularly and update project status to all stakeholders; and identify, remove roadblocks to secure timelines for production go-live.

Run steering committees to communicate project delivery, risk management and record decisions and validation for implementation.

Managing these approved initiatives and their interdependencies. Working with the respective IT teams on the daily activities of the projects, and able to influence key stakeholders on decision making

Contributing Responsibilities

• To participate in functional design reviews and contribute to improve overall solution offered.
• To proactively initiate or involve in continuous functional quality improvement initiatives.
• To share expertise by providing training and knowledge sharing sessions to stakeholder on new features / releases

TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIORAL

• Strong functional & business analysis skills with ability to communicate and bridge between business/operations & IT.
• Good functional experience in Trade Finance Product and applications.
• Good team player with great commitment and attitude.
• Good communication and coordination skill among multiple teams that are cross cultural and cross country.
• Ability to work independently.
• Familiar with standard formats such as SWIFT, EDIFACT, ISO20022 & data transformations.
• Proficiency in Unix/Shell scripts, XML and Oracle/PLSQL
• Fluency with reading/speaking in French language is key requirement as this candidate will be closely associated with Paris stakeholders.

Specific Qualifications (if required)

• Graduate degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in Corporate Banking environment TradeFinance (ebanking Channels) IT Business Analyst.
• Project Management Experience, with PMP certification Agile scrum and product certifications and CDCS certification.
