What the role is

• Main point of contact between shipping companies, banks, customers, and vendors to confirm accuracy and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to shipping and banking documents.
• Monitor the shipment process to ensure timely delivery, track document submission deadlines, and update internal systems with shipment status and relevant information.
• Ensure all documentation meets trade, customs, and banking regulations, as well as the company's internal compliance standards for commodity trading.
• Communicate effectively with customers on shipping schedules, document requirements, and order status, offering support to ensure smooth and positive interactions.
• Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure alignment on shipment schedules, payment terms, and document accuracy.

The Talent:

• At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, prior experience in handling letter of credit documentation for metal commodities is highly advantageous.
• Ability to communicate in Chinese language to liaise with native Chinese-speaking counterparts based in China.
• Meticulous, team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP system is a plus.

• Scanning of EWF documents, EOD reconciliations and handle daily documents of private clients
• Handle batch trade related documents, forms and account opening details of corporate clients
• Preparation of documents and courier requests
• Ordering of stationery, general filing and archival of documents in bulks
• Assist with other adhoc assigned
