JOB PURPOSE
The HoME+ (Senior) Executive is responsible for overseeing and providing efficient administrative functions and operational support to the Home Monitoring and Eldercare (HoME+) service/program under the Community Services Department of the Singapore Red Cross. This role primarily focuses on developing strategies to enhance and expand the programme including establishment of community partnerships as well as staff and volunteers development and empowerment.
HOME MONITORING AND ELDERCARE (HoME+)
About the programme: Home Monitoring and Eldercare (HoME+) is a monitoring system using sensors placed around the home. When inactivity is detected or when the user activates the panic button, the Red Cross' call center is notified immediately. Depending on the situation, community responders or the SCDF (for emergencies) will be dispatched to provide assistance.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Operation Support
â—Ź Responsible for continuous, 24/7 monitoring of the HoME+ programme. This includes oversight of the sensor-based monitoring system, promptly responding to detected inactivity or user-initiated panic button activations, and coordinating appropriate responses.
â—Ź Expand HoME+ strategically to further the cause of HoME+
â—Ź Work closely with the HoME+ Call Center team to ensure seamless
coordination and communication, which includes managing inquiries and coordinating home assessments. Collaboration extends to a range of operational aspects, such as managing responses, resolving issues, and optimizing the rogramme's overall efficiency.
â—Ź Handling inquiries from the general public or internal referrals related to interest in the HoME+ Program.
â—Ź Provide support in volunteer recruitment and engagement activities, fostering a positive and collaborative relationship with volunteers to enhance program effectiveness.
Administration Support
â—Ź Address general program inquiries promptly
â—Ź Accurately and promptly update clients' biographical data.
â—Ź Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Stakeholders Management
â—Ź Oversee the HoME+ Operations Team
â—Ź Liaise and build professional relationships with clients, caregivers and other stakeholders
â—Ź Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to advocate HoME+
Other Duties
â—Ź Undertake or participate in department and society events or activities, contributing to the overall cohesion and success of collective initiatives.
â—Ź Attend to HoME+ activation when needed, ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of the program as part of regular duties.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Qualifications
â—Ź Possess minimally a Diploma from a recognised institution
â—Ź Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
â—Ź Prior working experience in the social service sector and/or working with volunteers preferred
