Roles and Responsibilities
Communications Strategy & Management
- Execute and contribute towards the conceptualisation of strategies to strengthen communication channels, enhance brand awareness, and increase public support.
- Assist in the preparation of written collaterals such as talking points, official announcements, and other materials on behalf of the agency or spokesperson(s) to help drive advocacy and thought leadership.
- Support fundraising efforts by helping to conceptualise and prepare materials for integrated campaigns, organise fundraising events, as well as creating relevant decks or materials to strengthen appeals to potential donors and partners.
- Support internal communications efforts, such as co-organising of agency Townhalls, and moderating of internal engagement platform content.
Brand Management & Collaterals
- Assist in the development of print and digital collateral to strengthen brand identity and awareness, such as posters, brochures, greeting cards, agency premiums, among others.
- Work with internal stakeholders to create and review service or programme-led collaterals and materials to meet their respective needs and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with and support the team in major projects, such as website design, Annual Reports, digital marketing campaigns, among others, working with external vendors to facilitate smooth and timely completion of these projects.
Digital & Content Marketing
- Assist in conceptualising and implementing effective digital marketing strategies by:
- Developing content calendars for the agency’s digital platforms.
- Creating multimedia content for social media and EDMs.
- Coordinating search engine marketing, search engine optimisation, and other complementary efforts to drive traffic and engagement to the Allkin’s website.
- Assist in the production of multimedia content to support branding, publicity, or other marketing & communication objectives.
- Maintain and upkeep Allkin’s website, ensuring that all content is up-to-date, relevant, and accurate.
- Measure effectiveness of digital marketing efforts through performance tracking and media monitoring.
Public Relations & Media Management
- Support the team in facilitating media opportunities (such as interviews, features, event coverage) by refining responses, coordinating interviews or shoots, and liaising with journalists and media.
- Assist in the curation of press materials such as releases, info sheets, pitches, and press kits.
- Assist in building and developing media contact list to ensure database is optimised and updated with key journalists/reporters who cover relevant stories and beats.
- Help drive KOL marketing strategy by engaging KOLs to collaborate with and advocate for our cause, strengthening awareness and belief towards our causes.
Other Areas of Work
- Support the team in the organising of relevant agency events, such as symposiums, festivals, charity dinners, townhalls, among others.
- Any other areas of work as defined by the supervisor.
Desired Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in fields of study such as Communications, Digital Marketing, Advertising, and other relevant areas.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a communications or PR-related role. Prior experience in a PR/creative agency will be an advantage.
- Experience in the areas of corporate communications, corporate branding, public relations, media relations, marketing and crisis management.
- Digitally-savvy, with strong working knowledge of Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other social media management tools. Experience with Google Analytics will be an advantage.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel), and Canva. Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, After Effects) will be an advantage.
- Good design skills and strong creative direction capabilities, and an eye for design and aesthetics.
- Ability to think strategically and translate complex technical ideas to content that is easily understood by internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong storytelling skills and ability to produce copy that sufficiently informs but also attracts, engages, and inspires audiences towards a desired outcome.
- Meticulous with strong planning, organisational and multi-tasking skills.
- Self-starter who works well independently and is also a good team player.
- Proactive and able to deliver quality work within tight timelines.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion and interest in promoting and advocating the agency’s work, strategy, and impact.
