• Maintain real-time trading portfolio position to facilitate contracts pricing and portfolio valuation.
• Reconcile executed derivatives trades with broker statements and confirmations on daily basis.
• Maintain accurate reporting of derivative transactions and results.
• Monitor margin calls/excess cash related to derivatives and work with finance team to optimize positions across brokers to minimize cash utilization.
• Attend company training and undertake other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor degree in finance, economics, math or a related field
• Possesses strong interest in financial markets.
• Has initiative and able to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of futures and options
• Proficient in written and spoken Chinese to communicate with Chinese speaking associates.

Responsibilities

• Assign account codes to all transactions.
• Calculate customer/supplier account balances and reconcile with totals.
• Compile the relevant business documentation used in banking processes.
• Enter accurate and timely data into the accounting system.
• Maintain accurate financial records and statements.
• Perform month-end closing activities.
• Process payroll transactions.
• Record and process all business transactions within the organisation's accounting system using principles of double-entry accounting.
• Record transactions and events relating to inventory, accruals, prepayments, capital structure and finance costs.
• Record transactions and events relating to sales, purchases, receivables, payables and cash.
• Retrieve system reports from the accounting system for management use.
• Use relevant IT systems and tools effectively for data analysis.

Position: Accounts Executive (Covers maternity)

Location: Redhill

Working hours: 5 days, 9am - 6pm

Salary: Up to $4,200

Duration: Immediate - End Feb 2025

Responsibilities:

• Handle full sets of accounts
• Experience in managing AP/AR/GL functions
• Responsible for month-end and year-end closing
• Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting
• Monthly bank reconciliation and fixed assets accounting
• Assist in tax compliance submissions including GST reporting for Singapore
• Handle and participate in any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy or ACCA (Stage 1) or equivalent professional qualifications
• 3 years’ relevant working experience in handling full set of accounts
• Capable of maintaining full set of accounts
• A team player with quick learning capabilities and strong interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Computer literacy in spreadsheet and accounting software
• Globe3 accounting software knowledge is an advantage
• Must be able to commit the above duration
