SCOPE

Reporting to the Director of Groups & Events, the Sales Manager of Groups & Events is responsible for assisting the concentrated sales efforts of the Groups and Events Sales Team and to extend that assistance to other professional sales team members when requested. The incumbent is responsible to ensure optimal utilisation and selling of the hotel’s function spaces including restaurants & guest rooms and revenue maximisation in compliance with Kempinski’s standards.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES

• Direct receipt, qualification and coordination of catering event and wedding enquiries (incl. leads, RFPs, etc.) defined by her/his direct supervisor and handle requests according to the relevant standards
• Ensure the ideal and most effective utilization of the function spaces including restaurants
• Carry out site inspections with potential clients in coordination with the Sales team
• Realize upsell possibilities to meet and surpass Group & Event budget goals.

Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Maritime industry. They are looking for a Procurement Executive to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in the West – easily accessible.

Note: This is a 2 year’s contract, convertible and renewable.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the procurement of goods/services for the company’s operational needs
• Attain quotes from various suppliers/vendors when required
• Ensure timely delivery of purchases within the company’s Business Unit, following the necessary procedures
• Execute Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process effectively, ensuring timely acquisition of the required services/products
• Implement/Monitor the required procurement contracts, including contract availability, updates, and expiration date management
• Assist with managing the company’s supplier base, assessing supplier performance and maintaining the relevant documentation
• Assist with analyzing the company’s procurement processes/performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Participate in meetings/discussions and provide inputs to enhance operational performance
• All other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in any relevant field of studies
• Minimum 2 years of relevant procurement experience
