This is an operational position within the Asia Centre for Health Security (ACHS). The incumbent will be part of the team to support the core functions of the centre. Their duties would include administration, education and training, collaboration and partnership, and secretariat functions.

Duties & Responsibilities
Working under the direction of the Director and Head of Operations at the ACHS, the Assistant Manager will be part of the team to support the core duties of the centre:
a) Centre Administration

Overview

Reporting to the Head, Insight and System, RHS Office (RHSO), the appointment holder will help to manage and support the development of digital engagement plans and projects with HealthierSG (HSG) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and learning management system. Job Description

The Global Centre for Asian Women’s Health (GloW) aims to build a global research platform for transdisciplinary endeavours to address major health concerns over a woman's lifespan and across generations. Through its main hub in Singapore, the Centre will engage in multi-disciplinary research to promote women’s health, including a series of diet and lifestyle intervention studies.

Purpose of the role

The project coordinator/manager will play a key role in dietary intervention studies by actively managing and coordinating diet and lifestyle intervention studies in GloW. Responsibilities include development, implementation and monitoring of meal plans, educating participants as needed, collecting dietary data, and performing administrative duties to ensure the studies’ success and compliance. The staff will work closely with Principal Investigators of intervention studies, collaborate closely with the research team, food service team, and other relevant stakeholders, as well as undertake other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Centre’s Director as needed.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The staff will hold a few key responsibilities, including

(1) Intervention study coordinator:

• Recruit and interview study participants for the intervention study
• Implement methods for collecting dietary data, including detailed food intake records and compliance monitoring.

(2) Nutritional Intervention study monitoring:

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Deputy Director, Talent Management & Capability Development, the hire will be one of the team leads within Synapxe Academy, supervising a total of 3 assistant managers and/or executives in managing the learning operations, digitalization and productivity efforts as well as delivery experience. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Streamline and set up a strong learning delivery structure for the Academy operations which will enable a good employee experience and is productive.
• Review the Learning and Development Policy to ensure that the policy is updated in line with the learning philosophies and operating model.

• Manage and oversee the filing of regular tax returns, tax audit / inquiries and notices from tax authorities, GST/VAT and withholding tax

You will identify business opportunities and work with the multi-functional team across Singapore, Japan and Korea to build cohesive commercial plans! Your Team

You and other Senior Brand Managers (each handling different portfolios across our Focus Markets – Japan and Korea) will report to the Brand Director, covering Hair Care, APAC Focus Markets. You will work extensively with colleagues from Consumer Market Knowledge, Sales, Communications, Finance etc.

• Deliver Category growth, market penetration and gaining of New Users via Products Innovation Design
• Successful Design and Deployment of Marketing Toolkits for Hair Care brands.

Responsibilities of the role

• Brand Strategy: Owns the Integrated Brand Plan, Brand Strategy and Initiative Masterplan to create and execute brand strategies for key projects and initiatives to deliver brand growth. Drives investment decisions to maximise profitability.
• Brand Planning & Executions: Identify consumers' needs across Japan & Korea for P&G's Hair Care products, lead consumer research in developing a qualified brand concept, benefit and claims that addresses the consumers’ unmet needs.
• Collaboration: Work with R&D and technical team to design the right package & formula to win locally with key customers and/or channels.
• Collaborate with local Delivery teams to craft promotion/ pricing strategy and customer/ distributor trade terms. Communicate with market partners, stakeholders and suppliers across Korea and Japan to drive business initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors / Master’s Degree ideally in a business related field
• Min. 5-7 years of proven experience in strategic brand management, consulting or consumer journey design experience
• Digital Marketing skills and experience
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Cross-cultural communication skills
• Curiosity, forward-thinking courageous leadership
• Business proficiency in the Japanese or Korean language and strong market knowledge of Japan and Korea is highly preferred as the role requires local consumer understanding to develop brand equity and marketing strategies for these markets
