Overview

As a Service Manager, you will be a highly driven individual who is part of the service delivery team that ensures all contracts are actively managed and fronts customers directly. You are required to have IT experience and broad knowledge across infrastructure and cybersecurity technologies. You shall be the single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders while bearing overall responsibility for the project financial health and lead the project from commencement to completion.

What will you do?

Service Delivery

• Providing leadership and management of the Service Support Office and Project Administration in supporting the Client
• Acting as a Single Point of Contact in Client Engagement 
• Representing OneCare when engaging Client
• Representing OneCare when engaging 3rd Party vendors/Principals
• Representing OneCare when engaging NCS CSU and Sales Specialists
• Owning the Scope, SLA, Cost Plan of maintenance contracts managed by him/her
• Managing and monitoring of service activities to ensure that all aspects of the Scope, SLA are met
• Executing decisions pertaining to support activities and/or service requests where scope of work is not clearly defined contractually
• Forecasting revenue and costs of ongoing projects/contracts with minimum deviation
• Monitoring/ Tracking P&L of ongoing projects/contracts 
• Managing costs of ongoing contracts to ensure project margins targets are met
• Supporting Sales, as required, during negotiations of the Scope, SLA and Cost Plan
• Liaising with PMA, CSU Finance in matters of :-
  • Revenue forecast and accrual
  • Cost forecast and posting
• Evaluating needs and delivering continuous process and service improvements

Service Management

• Manage and prioritize service requests, dispatching technicians appropriately and monitoring progress to meet service level agreements
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess service department performance, and continuously work to improve and exceed targets

Customer/ Vendor Management

• Negotiate with vendors and across teams to ensure adequate resources are available during various phases of the project
• Build relationships with users, technical staff and management to determine and resolve issues associated with systems implementation
• Manage contracts and subcontractors
• Negotiate with customers on change request effort, schedules and prioritize changes based on business needs
• Clear and open communication with customers on project issues or clarifications

Business Development

• Proactively identify opportunities for further expansion or improvement of services delivered to the customer and liaise with the Account Manager(s) for development of that opportunity
• Be involved in pre-sale activities

Team Management

• Liaise with team members to ensure that all tasks and deliverables are proceeding according to schedule
• Plan, track and monitor the tasks assigned to the team leader/members
• Delegate tasks effectively by providing clear and specific instructions and goals
• Provide leadership to the project team to ensure that proposals/enhancements are fully analyzed and evaluated for their benefits and costs
• Provide the project team with accurate information about business needs and priorities as well as details about existing business systems
• Participate in leadership activities and providing performance feedback and developmental coaching
• Monitor and improve team performance, providing leadership, coaching, and performance Management

Inside Sales management

· Establish clear department goals & objectives (define KPIs)

· Monitor, manage and improve KPI Metrics (sales, quotation and order throughput times,

customer satisfaction, hit rate ...)

· Continuous improvement of processes, procedures & work instructions

· Ensure compliance with internal control system measures

· Recognize and organize procedural and policy gaps and fix them pro-actively

· Incorporate a 24-7 customer service attitude

· Measure and improve individual inside sales performance (responsiveness, accuracy, sales, & efficiency)

· Coordinate and manage interactions with other departments (i.e. IT, Accounting, Engineering, Product

Management, Business Development etc.)

· Coordinate priorities with Engineering and Operations

· Coordinate and manage interactions with other group companies (i.e. Headquarters, STAHL HMI, India, etc.)

· Manage implementation and refine pricing policies

Business Development process

· Manage the business generation process (quotations, follow up, technical support, sales leads ...) for the SEA ,

Australia and Japanese market

· Implement comprehensive quotation proposals (technical advantages - customer benefits)

· Manage communications with External Sales team

· Clearly define Customer requirements & goals at the beginning of quotation process (Secure Customer

answers to engineering basic project questions upfront) in coordination with the External Sales team.

· Develop “opportunity ownership mentality”

· Initiate and manage proactive selling activities (Target customers with low sales, new customers, new & key

product promotions ...)

· Manage price negotiations in line with applicable rules and regulations.

· Manage customer complaint log and issue corrective and preventive actions

· Obtain Customer feedback through surveys, meetings & teleconferences

· Establish business improvement ideas and lean management

Order handling process

· Monitor and deliver on deadlines when necessary.

· Manage and charge for change orders.

· Manage quick turnaround of errors, mistakes & customer requests.

· Handle and coordinate RMAs (Return Material Authorization’s).

Developing the team

· Coach & train Internal Sales team members on efficient processes and policies

· Build technically competent Internal Sales team (Product, Applications & Customer Value) through coaching

and training.

· Coach and train on selling skills (selling basics, cross selling, etc.)

· Coach and train on proactive and effective customer service that builds strong & lasting customer

relationships.

Education and/or Experience Requirements

· Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronic or Instrumentation Engineering or Technology/Bachelor of

Engineering / Bachelor of Arts Business Administration

· Minimum of (5) years’ experience with proven Customer Service track record.

Core responsibilities

• Responsible for Testing of Electrical Low Voltage Panels, in house and onsite technical support to customers.
• Prepare FAT reports.
• Maintain testing equipment’s calibration records.
• Check and ensure that all LV switchboards are fabricated accordance to construction drawings.
• Check and ensure that installation of all systems complied to specifications and requirements.
• Able to work independently and maintain good working relationship with Clients.
• Provide technical solutions working with vendors and partners.
• Work with Sales, Production and Quality on all design related developments and concerns.
• Any other duties maybe assigned to you from time to time.

Job Specifications

• Electrical engineering degree or diploma.
• 5 years relevant experiences in design of low voltage panels.
• A good understanding of oil, gas and marine requirements.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.
• Promote Good Company image.
• Responsible and maintain all equipment’s in good working condition after use.
• Attend to all field service works as instructed by the QC/Service Manager.
• Overseas travel, if necessary, will be part of your work responsibility.
• Highly motivated and should have an eye for details.

• Able to work Independently under minimum guidance.
