• Facilitate the handover process with unit owners at the property, ensuring acknowledgment of all items handed over.
• Accompany owners to their respective units, providing instructions on essential item usage.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, offering customer service and assistance post-handover.
• Maintain and update unit handover reports.

The Field Technician, reporting to the Service Leader, undertakes on-site assignments primarily in Southeast Asia and as needed worldwide. Responsibilities encompass electrical and mechanical operations, with administrative and commercial oversight by the Services Leader following established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Basic and detailed electrical engineering design for generators, providing electrical and instrumentation input to other disciplines.
• Conducting maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment aboard vessels, on-site, or in workshops.
• Investigating breakdowns, identifying root causes, implementing remedial actions, and making reliability improvements.
• Monitoring equipment and facilities for adherence to safety, housekeeping, and environmental requirements.
• Implementing digital solutions for generator installation and commissioning.
• Developing and reviewing risk analysis and procedures.
• Liaising with customers regarding work schedules and defect findings.
• Providing immediate response to urgent requests for on-site, on-board, or offshore work.
• Writing on-site reports, offering online assistance for troubleshooting.
• Temporarily transferring to the repair workshop during periods of reduced on-site workload.
• Ensuring strict compliance with travel rules to minimize costs and ensure personal security.
• Supporting Sales teams with opportunities.
• Adhering to legal EHS regulations and EHS rules, maintaining the required EHS qualification level.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of related experience preferably in rotating electrical machine maintenance.
• Preferred: Experience in generator electrical installation and instrumentation, equipment control, systems integration, and testing/commissioning of electrical equipment.
