Requirements:

• University Degree, preferably with professional insurance qualifications.
• At least 7 years’ experience for both marine hull and P&I casualty claims under Hull & Machinery, P&I, LOT/LOH, Anchorage, Container itself and Forwarder’s Liability insurance policies in the insurance company.
• Advanced knowledge of marine hull insurance clauses and P&I rules in UK and Japan.
• Good global network with international law firms, average adjusters, marine surveyors, correspondents, marine experts and salvors.
• Excellent technical skills on Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Proficiency in Japanese language is required to handle Japanese clients, liaise with Japan HQ and to read Japanese reports/documents.
• Analytical with advanced report writing, presentation and communication skills in both English and Japanese language to take initiatives of the marine hull and P&I casualty claims.
• Good Customer response skills for Japanese clients to handle Japanese clients’ accounts.
