Responsibilities:
- Take orders and explain menu to customers
- Able to address customers' concerns
- Able to relate to people
· Helps in taking reservations, answering the phone, replying to WhatsApp messages before and during service, responding to any guest requests etc
· Welcome guests warmly to the restaurant
· Be helpful, welcoming and pleasant towards each guest.
· Acknowledge special occasions when notified by customer and keying it in the system for the booking.
· Liaise with the kitchen and GM on the special requests of the week.
· Assist other service crew with work including, but not limited to cleaning the tables, tidying up and setting silverware during service and getting ready for the next seating
· Serve food & beverage to guest when required.
Requirements:
· Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management
- MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH WELL
· Good people skills
- Likes to chat with customers
· Good organizer and planner
· Service-orientated
· Ability to operate with flexibility and creativity.
· Well-groomed
· Proactively taking on additional responsibilities where required.
· Can think out of the box
· A minimum of 3 years’ experience with customer service preferably at a hotel or a restaurant
BENEFITS
- 5 day week/ 52 hours
- $2500 to $3500 (depending on experience and skills set)
- 12 days of AL (up till 17 days)
