What will you be doing?

We are looking for enthusiastic and creative Field Service Coordination Engineer to be part of our team. You will be a member of our Field Service Management team that provides five-star customer service and promotes this idea throughout the organization. Your main focus area will be to organize service attendances through our global service network, participate on shifts, support engineers while on board following system’s requirements.

• Four-year degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Telecommunications or equivalent
• Experience in customer support
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Good understanding of OSI Layer, TCP/IP networking and firewall
• IT skills in the area of Microsoft domain, Storage systems (NAS) 
• Good understanding in networking products and technology such as routing and switching
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Great communication and teamwork skills

Customer Service

• Attending to local and overseas customer’s inquiries pertaining to rates and investigating queries and complaints (eg cargo damage, short shipment).
• Inform changes in shipping info to customers (change of vessels/departure date etc).
• Weekly preparation of flyers for weak ports.
• Liaise with other departments closely for documentation.

Cargo Bookings

• Responsible for bookings and tele- marketing for local cargoes. Define the exact commodity description from the shipper.
• Pre-booking with carriers of containers and handling class cargo declaration with carriers for your own sectors.
• Inform changes in shipping info to warehouse (change of vessels/departure date etc).
• Preparation of railing instructions and liaising with warehouse/truckers
• Follow up with shippers of any discrepancy in M3 or packages being booked by phone and fax.
• Getting all the BL draft in place within the given time frame for all consoles that involves AMS/ACI filing.
• Sending cargo needed via emails to all CS & Sales personnel everyday.
• Assisting Export Manager in negotiating with carriers for competitive rates whenever possible.

Main Objective

• To ensure high level of Customer Service efficiency is achieved and maintained within all areas of Region Asia, as well as increased Customer Service delivery to customers.
• Promote and encourage cooperation and team work within the Areas, Regions and between departments in order to bench mark and adopt best practices.

Function and Duties

• Develop, monitor and analyze Customer Service Key Performance Indicators (i.e. Quality Promise) for the Areas and drive / provide recommendations for improvement measures
• Support the improvement of customer defined benchmarks in the Areas
• Support the regional Customer Service management with the implementation of process improvements/changes
• Ensure timely information for Areas in regard to trade specific requirements and restrictions

Job Description & Requirements

• Building and maintaining network with the customers of welding consumable for the region in Singapore
• Daily visit users in Singapore (eg. shipyard, distributors) engaged in welding to assess their satisfaction levels with the equipment and identify any areas of improvement or dissatisfaction
• Listen to user’s request and provide suitable advice to use welding material
• Business trip to Malaysia upon customer’s request for technical support
• Plan and organize for branding and promoting company products activities in covered area including conduct seminars, demonstration, road show, exhibitions, etc
• Engage in discussions with companies involved in the extraction of structures used in oil & gas exploration from the seabed
• Provide technical service of welding material
• Response to enquiry of engineers to confirm specifications of welding consumable
