Roles & Responsibilities

• To lead and guide Service engineers in service-related matters
• To provide training, technical support and advice to Service engineers
• To learn and transfer new technology knowledge and skills from Japan HQ to Service engineers in Singapore and regional countries
• To interface between customers, engineers and Japan HQ in troubleshooting and finding out the countermeasures and solutions for machine problems

Job Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
• Possess minimum 10 years of hands-on field experience in CNC machines or related equipment
• Technically strong in diagnosis and repair of 5-axis multitasking machines
• Strong in laser and double ball bar calibration
• Possess good understanding and interpretation of programmable logic control (PLC) and excellent knowledge of NC and special skills

Overview of this role is to liaise with customers to organize new job orders before handing over to Operations team.

Key roles as our Customer Service Officer involves the following:

• Creating new job orders provided by customers
• Monitor vessel arrival and update customers for any changes in ETA
• Preparing delivery schedule for Operations team
• Ensure details and documents are in place before processing of sea freight containers in PSA Portnet
