Your profile

You have a technical background as a marine engineer, mechanical engineer, electrician, automation specialist or similar. The most important thing is that you have an interest in engineering and mechanics.

It is desirable that you have practical sailing experience with larger 2-stroke diesel engines, but not an absolute requirement, as we carry out internal training. You have a passion in customer service and a talent in putting people at ease as well as problem solving. Excellent communication skill, interpersonal skill and liaison skill are also essential in engaging on a day-to-day work with the stakeholders and customers. If you have experience in outreaching and closing sales (service and spare parts), that will be an advantage.

Responsibilities:-

• Provide assistance, guidance, and coaching support to officers to meet KPI
• Assess work performance of officers and identify areas that need improvement
• Monitor and provide project status report to management
• Supervise officers to conduct survey interviews via outbound calls and field visits to collect timely and reliable data for national statistical information
• Understand of the surveys and Singapore standards by successful completion of the training provided
• Ensure officers understand the survey objectives and procedures
• Ensure officers compile, record, input results and data from interview surveys into the system
• Conduct verification to ensure completeness and accuracy of data collected
• Ensure that the given KPI are being met based on the project timeline
• Identify and report problems in obtaining valid data
• Reach out to the respondent from selected establishment to participate and in digital survey data transmission
• Explain survey objectives and procedures to respondent on the confidential database to be extracted
• Establish and maintain relationship with respondents throughout the project period
• Organize workflow and ensure that officers understand their duties and delegated tasks
• Set goals for KPI and deadlines in ways to meet project timeline
• Provide fair, constructive, and timely feedback towards performance expectations and goals
• Manage escalated cases and maintain public relations; regarding any complaints or concerns

Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years experience in leadership role
• Prior experience in call center environment will be beneficial
• Able to work in a fast paced environment & achieved assigned targets/KPIs
• Well spoken & good communication skills
• Proficient in MS office, especially Excel

What’s The Role:

Our team is looking for a hardworking and technically motivated Customer Support Training Specialist to join the team at the Singapore office. As part of the Training team, you'll be responsible for all matters related to developing/maintaining skills and knowledge vital to the success of our Customer Support employees. From the day they join Bloomberg you will help them build technical knowledge to help foster their careers across our firm. Your involvement starts from the design and development of the relevant materials, which will be suitable for either instructor-led, e-learning, or self-directed learning activities. In addition, you will play a crucial role in shaping the development and roll-out of new initiatives and enhancements from their early stages through to implementation. • Be flexible to department needs, able to adapt to changing priorities and conditions and be detail oriented for projects or research as required

You'll Need to Have:

• Demonstrated experience of Bloomberg's Terminal software or Bloomberg Professional Solutions
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer support role covering financial institutional clients
• Demonstrated experience in project management
• A dynamic approach and real passion for delivery of training with a relentless desire for continued learning
• Strong customer focus and technical aptitude with an outstanding level of customer service
• Strong presentation and communication skills (both verbally and in writing)
• Attention to detail with excellent prioritization and time management skills

Sales Support

• Assist in preparing sales quotations and follow up on quotation status (training will be provided).
• Assist in updating sales opportunities into sales pipeline reports using cloud software.
• Assist in order processing and delivery coordination.
• Assist the sales and service team in daily sales operations and liaise between other departments on sales order delivery.
• To liaise with supplier and customer to ensure prompt completion of each sales order.
• Provide good customer service through product knowledge, handling enquiries.
• To work as a team to meet monthly set targets and annual goals.

Admin Support

• Responsible for order processing, purchasing, invoicing.
• Liaise with suppliers/ couriers on delivery matters and installations.
• Co-ordinate with customers on delivery schedules & updating of delivery status.
• Generate weekly report (delivery tracking list) and update record of suppliers list.
• Provide general office administrative support such as filing, data entry, scanning of documents, ordering office items etc.
• Assist in any other ad-hoc duties from time to time, as and when necessary.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess min. NITEC/ O Level
• Min. 1 year of related working experience
• Proficient in MS office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Meticulous and detail-oriented
• Good communication skills
