This is a full time role for a Service Crew (Karaoke) located in Islandwide. Our client is Singapore's largest and first themed karaoke chain. This position includes handling phone reservations and inquiries, greeting and directing guests to their rooms, and managing orders for food and beverages. The position also requires basic technical support, such as checking microphones and karaoke systems, while maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, communicate effectively with the team and management, and maintain a neat appearance. Additionally, they should be comfortable handling alcoholic beverages and be ready to take on other duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Contract Period: 1 December 2024 to 30 November 2025
Option to Extend: 1 December 2025 to 30 November 2026).

Working Hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 6:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break).
• Fridays: 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break).
• Total Working Hours per Week: 42 hours.
• Flexible Hours: Depending on school requirements, working hours may change to any time between 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Days Off: Not required to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support:

• Handle incoming calls, walk-in inquiries, and manage the delivery of school mails and parcels.
• Attend to pupils who are unwell in the General Office, ensuring adherence to the school’s early dismissal procedures.
• Coordinate with the teacher in charge to update weekly school activities in the General Office.
• Pack and prepare materials for distribution to all classes.
  Compile simple information and statistics using MS Office applications.
• Organize and distribute school correspondences and materials.
  Provide administrative support during major school events, such as P1 orientation.

1. General Office Management:

• Ensure the efficient functioning of the General Office by maintaining an orderly environment.
• Assist with the management of records and documentation to ensure compliance with school policies.

1. Other Duties:

• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the School administration.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Education:

• At least a GCE ‘O’ Level (or equivalent).

Language Proficiency:

• Preferably well conversant in both English and Mandarin.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing administrative support.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

First Aid Knowledge:

• Basic knowledge of first aid is required.

• Working Days: 5.5 days per week (alternating weekly: Week 1 has 5 days, and Week 2 has 6 days).
• Working Timing: 9 hours (Monday - Thursday); 9.5 hours (Friday - Sunday)

Contract Details:

• Duration: 1 Year (with no guarantee of extension/conversion)
• Target Start Date: By December 1, 2024
• Salary: Up to $2,500/month
• Commission: $400-$500/month
• Completion Bonus: 1 month's salary
