You will be part of the data engineering team. Your role includes designing and developing high quality data products - data warehouse, data marts, data lake and data hubs; either on cloud or on-premises system environments.

Be Part of Our Success

• Build and support data pipelines and all associated Software Engineering infrastructure tasks.
• Liaise with clients, technical architects, data architects, data scientists and BI analysts to gather requirements.
• Analyse data requirements, prepare functional and non-functional specifications for the data products.
• Develop the data pipeline using either ETL or ELT approach to load or synchronise data in near real time or batch mode.
• Analyse and interpret data into business insights.
• Design and develop the dashboards and visualizations using the BI tools.
• Ability to understand and convert the business logics into SQL queries and validate it against the data.
• Prepare Test Plans and conduct Unit Test, System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test and Performance Test.
• Implement deployment approaches and methods to roll-out the system changes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and technological advancements that will improve the quality of the data products.

Qualities We Value

• At least 3 years of end-to-end data warehouse, data lake and big data implementation experience with similar industry will be a plus point.
• Proficient with at least one or more of the following technologies: Informatica , SSIS, SQL Skills, SQL Server , Azure Data Factory, Data Warehouse, ETL Framework.
• Preferably possess a good knowledge about: Power BI, Qlik Sense, MicroStrategy, SAS and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough data analysis and implement data-driven solutions to support customer issue troubleshooting, utilizing statistical modelling and machine learning techniques to identify root causes and provide actionable insights for resolution
• Partner with field engineering teams to analyse data from plasma etching systems and provide timely, meaningful and accurate analysis results to support data-driven improvement
• Communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams, present complex data analysis findings or results to stakeholders in a concise, effective and understandable manner
• Develop advance statistical and machine learning algorithms to extract insights from large and complex data sets, and work with internal engineering team to evaluate the effectiveness of the algorithms
• Collaborate with global data engineering teams to share best practices and work on cross- functional projects that require data science expertise
• Manage and maintain the internal analytics solutions, supporting continuous development and implementation, and ensuring that data integrity and accuracy are always maintained
• Develop and conduct training sessions for local engineers on data analytics skills such as JMP/KNIME & Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Degree/Master in Microelectronics, Data Science or a related field with Minimum 3 years' experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, semiconductor fabrication factory, semiconductor parts/peripherals or related industry
• Proven working experience as a Data Scientist in the semiconductor industry with a focus on plasma dry Etch process
• Ability to develop and implement algorithms for process optimization and problem solving
• Strong knowledge of data analytics methodologies, statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and predictive modelling
• Proficiency in using various data science tool sets and programming skills (e.g., Python, JSL, R etc.) for data manipulation, visualization, and analysis

• Perform onsite preventive maintenance of equipment and attend to equipment abnormalities.
