The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical support for issues escalated by in-country field service teams and to ensure timely solutions for customer and FSE inquiries. Additionally, the role involves providing on-site technical support within the EA region. This individual will be responsible for providing Level 2 support, remote guidance, developing and enhancing the technical expertise of field service engineers for our PQ equipment, supporting daily operations and service business needs.

He will take the lead, in collaboration with the factory R&D team, in building a competent field services team and improving the overall customer experience. The role also involves working closely with the East Asia Supply Chain team to develop a spare parts support model that aligns with our warranty obligations. Furthermore, the individual will assist countries in establishing CPS spare parts inventory, managing minimum/maximum levels, and ensuring adequate support through regional hubs or factories.

A. Leads the execution of escalation procedures through phone calls and emails, including after-hours support for escalations. Escalations primarily refer to post-sales technical support, covering UPS hardware, firmware, batteries, and other power-related equipment. All documentation is published on SharePoint, Eaton Technical Web, or via Service Bulletins.

B. Assists in providing information on 1 Phase and 3 Phase systems in the EA region by tracking reported cases, product issues, and resolutions, including unresolved issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Be the key driver to ensure that REC Modules deliver world class leading top quality product through well controlled process and manufacturing flow, from material supplies to product deliveries.

Be key driver to ensure improvement, qualification and implementation of new processes/products including changes and/or new product introduction, are in-line with the overall production performance enhancement targets.

Support production line issues with appropriate and permanent corrective solution, as and when necessary.

In plant expansion phase, work closely with process/equipment/technology and contribute to establish good product quality and specification.

Establish investment proposals and projects in order to utilize best available practice and competence.

Support managements' directives and projects as and when needed.

Possessed very good ability in project management, providing key milestone, timeline and execution, overseeing the completion of project on time.

Candidate working in Cell PD is responsible for development new cell processes or optimize existing processes in Solar cell Manufacturing.

Candidate will need to work with external suppliers to bring in new materials or integrate new processes into the current cell processing line. Candidate will also work on continuous improvement projects to improve the cell efficiency and cost of a solar cell.

Candidate with semiconductor or solar cell background would have an added advantage.

Able to mentor junior cell PD engineers and be a role model for them.

Depending on the competencies developed, process development will be required to be rotated to different departments as required by management.

• Degree in engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, material science or related discipline)
• 5 years or more working experience
• Knowledge in product design environment.
• Knowledge of interpreting design intent for DFM and DFA
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor or PV.

As an Engineer of MSB Lean Manufacturing, you will manage the implementation of Lean transformation methodologies and tools in Assembly, Test and SSD manufacturing at MSB. You will collaborate closely with site functional teams to identify, explore and implement lean methodologies and tools to drive improvements in throughput, labor productivity, yield, and cycle time performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the adoption and implementation of Lean methodologies and tools across Assembly, Test, and SSD manufacturing.
• Facilitate continuous improvement events across different functional teams (e.g., Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Projects, Workshops).
• Develop and sustain programs and systems to foster a Lean culture.
• Conduct labor productivity analyses (e.g., Touch-time, MMR, spaghetti charts) to enhance operator and technician efficiency and reduce operational errors.
• Oversee Utilization/ Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to identify key sources of losses and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with functional experts to identify areas for improvement through the application of Lean methodologies and tools.
• Propose Lean approaches and initiatives, including Kaizen and Continuous Improvement Projects.
• Act as the key integrator between central and site functional teams, developing, driving, and communicating progress on critical Lean improvement initiatives.
• Develop an overall view of critical initiatives and their impact on key performance indicators.
• Provide visibility on program status, including key achievements with clear ownership.
• Trigger interventions to ensure programs stay on track towards targets.
• Support regular reporting and meetings with senior leadership, including deep dives for weekly/monthly reports and ad-hoc senior management updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s /master’s in Industrial and system engineering, engineering management, Production & Operation Management, or related field.
• > 2 years of experience in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and/or Lean manufacturing fundamentals in the semiconductor industry
• Strong project management, analytical skills and problem solving skills
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple multi-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Semiconductor processes, engineering and/or manufacturing operations

More About You:

• Degree in Chemistry/ Material Science or equivalent
• 1- 3 year experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, Chemical Lab or/ and quality related experience preferred
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of analytical techniques
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Win Word, Powerpoint, Tableau and Excel VBA
• Knowledge of requirements IATF16949, ISO17025, ISO 14000, OSHA 18000 will be an added advantage
