Job Summary:

The Process Designer is responsible for creating detailed designs and layouts for process systems, supporting engineering teams in the development and optimization of industrial processes. This role involves translating engineering concepts into practical designs, preparing detailed diagrams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The Process Designer collaborates with engineers to support process improvements, plant layouts, and efficient equipment arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Design and Drafting:Develop detailed process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment layouts.
  Work with process engineers to create accurate design documentation, including material balances, equipment specifications, and system schematics.
  Utilize CAD software and design tools to produce high-quality, accurate drawings and layouts.
  
• Project Collaboration and Coordination:Coordinate with other design disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural) to ensure cohesive designs that meet project requirements.
  Support engineering teams by participating in project meetings, design reviews, and site visits when necessary.

1. To interpret technical drawing and performing machining process and requirement to produce the workpiece.
2. To perform machine code programming.
3. To operate, set up parts and producing parts as per drawing specification.
4. Guiding and providing operator/machinist with basic instruction in operating the machines.
5. Design simple jigs & fixtures for machining process if required.
6. To trouble shoot on dimensions non-conformance and provide corrective action and remedy

Competence Requirement

· Preferred to have NTC/ Diploma in Precision or Mechanical Engineering.
