Job Description

• Able to monitor public tenders and private tenders in the local market.
• Able to take off quantity and costing during the tender stage.
• Able to lead QS during the tender stage, construction stage, and handing over project stage.
• Assist management in overall planning and strategy, as well as project risk management.
• Able to prepare and control project budgeting.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and coordinate between vendors, sub-contractors, and manufacturers.
• Attend project kick-off meetings, site meetings & client-consultant meetings.
• Monitor all contractual records with clients and vendors to be compliant to protect the company's interest at all times. Able to handle disputes with clients or vendors, if any, based on the type of contract signed.
• Prepare pre and post-budget, progress claims, projected cash flow, tender documentation, and final accounts.
• Ensure every progress claim, certifications, and invoice to clients are issued on a timely basis
• Oversee and manage the operation of the Contract team by ensuring the Company’s contractual obligations and requirements are met and fulfilled in any undertaken project.
• Job Requirements
• Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Preferably 5 years of relevant working experience in handling of Contractual Terms & Conditions in the Construction Industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and clients.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Able to work under pressure with high initiative.

• Position: Warehouse Management cum Procurement (Engineering)
• Location: Tuas Crescent - Company transport provided (Pick up point at Jurong East and Marsiling MRT)
• Working hours: 5 days, Mon to Fri (8.30am- 5.15pm)
• Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $7000+ Bonus

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage warehouse team to ensure timely receiving/issuance of raw materials.
• Manage warehouse team to achieve order fulfilment requirements specific to all customer shipments.
• Ensure overall inventory integrity of all goods in warehouse.
• Source and identify suppliers for direct/indirect materials/services to expand supplier base and for new project/production needs.
• Obtain quotes from newly source suppliers to achieve competitive costing and continuous cost reduction.
• Lead in conducting periodic price negotiation with suppliers to ensure competency in cost for materials/services.

• Be part of team to conduct supplier qualification audit as well as parts qualification to ensure suppliers can meet company needs.
• Qualify suppliers once suppliers are selected in order to add suppliers into the Approved Vendor List.
• Conduct supplier performance review on a regular basis to manage supplier qualify and updates on suppliers capabilities.
• Maintain standard operating procedures applicable to the Procurement department to ensure

• Work with other department and suppliers to develop appropriate supply chain model to ensure assurance of supplies with minimal inventory holdings.

• Ensure all indirect purchases needs of company is being fulfilled based on user’s needs.
• Review Purchasing strategy periodically with Management to propose change when market trend changes.
• Provide periodic alert and updates to customer (internal/external) to ensure any issues/delays are promptly highlighted and necessary actions are taken.
• Work with principals/suppliers to ensure goods are delivered on time to fulfill customers/company’s needs.

Requirement

• Diploma /Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience
• At least 4-5 years working experience and exposure in both mechanical and electrical customized parts and components sourcing.

• Responsible for the successful delivery of assigned projects.
