We are expanding our team to include the role of Chemical Engineering Plant Technician that will oversee some of the most exciting developments in sustainable insect biomaterials. The Chemical Engineering Plant Technician is a well-balanced role that will tap on expertise in biochemical engineering, materials science, problem solving skills, and effective communication. Working together with our R&D team, they will scale and expand our manufacturing capabilities.

Requirements:

• A Nitec, Higher Nitec, polytechnic diploma, or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or related field of study
• Strong interest/experience in biopolymers, chemical engineering, and material science
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and work in a team
• Singaporean nationals or Singaporean permanent residents

Responsibilities:

• Execute daily manufacturing processes
• Aid with the maintenance of the plant and machinery, including testing and fixing faults when necessary
• Sampling and testing biomaterials, including logging data and carrying out analyses
• Carry out quality control and inspection of the final products
• Carry out research to improve cost, time, and sustainability efficiency

A) Job Description

1) To liaise with client and Professional Engineer (PE) in solving technical and detailing

issues of scaffolding works based on the site requirements.

2) To interpret construction drawings for any discrepancies and to propose the alternative

design or work method for Scaffolding works.

3) Coordinate with site teams and PE to ensure timely submission and approval of design and COS for site installation to meet site progress schedule.

4) Liaising with the sales team & client for proposal of scaffolding design to prepare Bill of Quantity

(BQ) for Tender submission documents.

5) Scaffolding design and proposal drawing preparation using AutoCAD.

6) Control and prepare monthly reports on logistics and materials movement.

7) Application for work passes (SOC / SIC) for new and renewal.

8) Prepare workers PPE and documents for submission prior to project commencement.

9) Assist Project Manager and Project Team in project planning, coordination and overseeing of site works.

10) Visiting job sites to understand work requirements and progress.

11) Basic filing of documents and drawing.

12) Assist HR in workers welfare.

13) Any other task shall be assigned by The Management from time to time that is deemed necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of regional work experience with at least 2 years in sales account management and managing distributors or agents.
• Experience in VSAT or RF an added advantage

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for pre- and post-sales account management, attending to sales enquiries, generating and present quotations.
• Developing and executing sales strategies/product penetration plans to meet sales/business objectives in terms of revenue, margin, and market share.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction by developing long-term relationships with key/current/prospective customers.
• Correspond with suppliers to ensure delivery of products on time and products’ update.
• Source for suppliers and represent them in Singapore if product is suitable.
