We are looking to employ a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects and supervise the construction team. The Site Supervisor's responsibilities include ordering building supplies, scheduling equipment maintenance as needed, and training new construction employees. You should also be able to perform first aid in emergencies. To be successful as a Site Supervisor, you should be detail-oriented and knowledgeable of building codes and construction safety regulations. Ultimately, an outstanding Site Supervisor should be able to interpret building plans as well as demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Site Supervisor Responsibilities: Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards. Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors. Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol. Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries. Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol. Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance. Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed. Analyzing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications. Responsibilities

· To carry out works as assigned and ensuring that the works are carried out to schedule and in accordance to relevant regulations.

· Coordinate and supervise site workers, identify operating problems and perform trouble shooting and emergency repair.

· Perform routine maintenance work on TBM equipment.

· Responsible for the installation of TBM parts including repair and replace damaged/worn out parts.

· Testing of TBM equipment to ensure smooth running.

· Assist the daily activities at work site to meet project progress and the main contractor’s program and requirements.

· Preparation and submission of site daily progress reports.

· To attend the project meetings.

· To perform testing and commissioning at work site.

· Assisting the Project Manager in the management of the site on a daily basis.

Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

· Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the tunnelling industry.

· Relevant project experience in the field of tunnelling project in Singapore.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

· Understand and be familiar with professional practice and contract administration processes. Technical knowledge in contracts terms and law.

· Review on the supplier/contractor quotation or proposal and make sure that all requirements are complied with.

· Able to provide budget cost or estimates as per instruction.

· Able to communicate with other Departments in dealing with various documents and issues.

· Coordinate with the supplier/contractor regarding follow up on bills and quantities.

· Prepare and submit monthly payment claim to client.

· To source supplier locally/overseas for items required by client and follow up the necessary accordingly.

· To evaluate and tabulate monthly /quarterly for material and labour cost. Finalization of project final accounts.

· Tendering process and tender evaluation report. To reply tender clarification, preparation for tender interview and presentation etc.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Quantity Survey, Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English/Mandarin (to coordinate with the Chinese speaking supplier/contractor regarding follow up on bills and quantities).
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): Contracts Management, Cost Management, accurate, analysis, team player.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Job Description

•Assist the PM in taking over project awarded via kick-off meetings,

•Organize resources and work out the allocation of tasks to work teams and sub-contractors,

•Assist the PM with on and off site meetings pertaining to technical issues,

•Ensuring that project management tools are updated daily and documentation properly done,

•Inspect all installations and carry out inspections with Clients and Consultant's representatives,

•Conduct Testing and Commissioning (T&C) and preparing T&C reports,

•Design corrective actions to mitigate scope ad schedule creeps, and

•Assist the PM in demobilizing and handling over of projects to customer.

•Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

•Preferably with Degree in M&E Coordination / Building Services Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical;
