To support our Marine Crane & Deck Machinery Service operations in Singapore, we are employing experienced Senior Service Engineer - Ship Cranes as follows:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• To carry out field service attendances to troubleshoot & repair Deck Cranes, Grabs, Windlasses, Hatch Cover Hydraulics and Davits.

REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate will have solid working experience with marine crane and deck machinery makers such as:

• MacGREGOR
• IHI
• MITSUBISHI
• LIEBHERR
• TTS MARINE
• TSUJI
• HATLAPA
• PUSNES, NIPPON PUSNES etc.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Min 5 years' experience sailing as Electrical Officer on bulkers equipped with deck cranes and has carried out troubleshooting and repairing Marine Cranes, Windlasses & other hydraulic systems on board,
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of PLC controlled electro-hydraulic cranes & hydraulic machinery.
• Able to read and comprehend electric and hydraulic diagrams.
• Able to independently troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical problems.
• Able to supervise a team of mechanics and carry out large repair projects as Lead Engineer on board, on voyage and in Ship Yards.
• Able to write technical reports and able to communicate with owners' representatives.
• Previous employment as service engineer with one of the leading deck crane manufacturers will be an added advantage.
• Experience with variable frequency drives (VFD) will be an added advantage

Overview: The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing project plans, schedules, and where involved in projects, coordinating activities to ensure the timely and efficient completion of civil construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including work breakdown structures (WBS), timelines, and milestones, considering project scope, objectives, and client requirements.
• Scheduling and Coordination: Create and maintain project schedules using scheduling software (Primavera P6), allocate resources, and coordinate activities to ensure adherence to timelines and deadlines.
• Resource Allocation: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress against planned schedules, identify deviations or delays, and analyze critical paths to implement corrective actions and mitigate risks.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments, identify potential risks or obstacles that may affect project timelines, and develop strategies to mitigate risks and maintain project schedules.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular progress reports, including project status updates, variance analysis, and forecasts, for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedules, or resources by assessing their impact, updating plans, and communicating changes effectively to relevant stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration among project teams, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in planning and scheduling for civil construction projects.
• Proficiency in project management software, particularly Primavera P6.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and industry best practices.

• Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels

Job Description:

• Ensure the machine is working correctly, and calibrating the machine to ensure proper measuring.
• Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection as per customer requirement.
• Maintain calibration record of measuring equipment.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.
• Maintain safe and healthy working environment by following standards and procedures.
• Raise non-conformance report if necessary.

Job Requirements:

• NITEC/Higer NITEC in Precision Engineering.
• 2 -3 years of relevant QC experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge.
• Able to interpret technical/mechanical drawings of geometrical dimensioning and tolerance.
• Able to perform CMM measurement; preferably with Wenzel or Zeiss.

Position: Cargo Oil Pump Fitter/Technician

Location: Singapore

Roles and Responsibilities

· Perform detailed inspections of cargo oil pumps to identify wear, damage, or malfunction.

· Conduct root cause analysis for pump failures, diagnosing issues with bearings, mechanical seals, impellers, or other components.

· Disassemble pumps for cleaning, inspection, repair and overhaul.

· Replace worn or damaged parts, including bearings, mechanical seals, impellers, and shafts.

· Reassemble pumps according to manufacturer specifications and all components correctly installed.

· Calibrate and test pump components to ensure optimal performance and alignment.

· Utilize precision measurement tools (e.g., micro meters, dial indicators) for inspection and dimensional checks.

· Prepare the overhaul service report.

· Use appropriate personal protective equipment and follow safe work practices.

Qualifications

· Relevant trade certificate or mechanical/marine engineering studies.

· Hands on experience with inspection, overhauling and repairs of cargo oil unloading centrifugal pumps with capacity range 3000- 3500 m3/hour

· Previous shipyard experience preferred

· Good written communication skills for reports preparation

· Team player and able to communicate to all stakeholders

· Willing to work long, odd hours and during weekends and holidays to perform urgent machinery jobs

The Job:

• Attends and administers to all after-sales services over WhatsApp, emails and incoming calls. Verifies truck status and co-ordinate with workshop in-charge to dispatch jobs to technicians and update status to customers.
• To administer internal and external administrative matters e.g. internal liaising with service admins on ops administrative matters, personnel administrative matters, etc. External: Daily status update to customers, Airfield vehicle permit application etc.
• To assist workshop in-charge to liaise with vendors on ops required items/parts and other engineering jobs
• To co-ordinate with workshop in-charge in planning of PM schedules and dispatching to customers
