Skills

• Own the Master Document Register (MDR), ensuring all critical design elements are tracked, updated, and followed through.
• Conduct in-depth energy production analysis for designed PV systems, continuously optimizing efficiency through cost-benefit analyses.
• Evaluate engineering specifications, and provide cutting-edge recommendations for improvements in solar design, driving technological advances while reducing costs.
• Assess the environmental and technological impact of plans, recommending innovative solutions to improve performance, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Serve as a key technical resource, guiding Project Managers and Engineers through installations, start-up, testing, and commissioning of solar systems. Be the go-to for performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Create comprehensive checklists to ensure completed solar installations meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Analyze costs and benefits to refine project designs, executing cost-reduction strategies to improve overall system performance.
• Review and provide insights on EPC Scope of Work, ensuring specifications align with top-tier design and installation practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial PV system design and engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline is ideal).
• Expertise in low, medium, and high-voltage power electronics.
• Mastery of energy modeling software like PVsyst and CAD tools such as AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
• A self-driven learner open to embracing emerging technologies.
• Familiar with relevant codes, including IEC, Singapore Standards, and construction practices.
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical, structural, and mechanical calculations.

What we seek to accomplish together:

The Network Engineer is responsible to provide operational support to network infrastructure, support to the clients and resolution of technical issues and conducting root cause analysis. The network engineer is also required to manage change request through changes requests processes including requirement gathering, impact analysis, design, testing to integrate the change to existing environment.

A little about you:

• Responsible for the infrastructure network design, implementation, testing, security, managing and maintenance of proposed system
• Work closely with Team Leader to meet system delivery milestones
• Provide technical documentation support to Project & Solutions Teams, as well as hand over as-built system documentation to Maintenance support team
• Respond promptly to incident, root cause analysis & provide temporary and/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties
• Engage with back-line support and/or with vendor’s support to diagnose and rectify technical problems.
• Implement service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures & disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.
• Assist in day-to-day operation of the System Delivery team
• Carry out other technical related duties that may be required.
• Attain key certifications for partnership with key vendors.

What you might also need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in configuring and administering routers and switches (e.g. Cisco routers and switches, etc), firewall products (e.g. CheckPoint, Forcepoint, etc.), F5 Load Balancers, AAA, NTP, IPS
• Good understanding of network system, network architecture, routing, switching, firewall and security
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to explain technology from a customer perspective
• Proficient in performing network analysis and troubleshooting using network and protocol analyzers
• Network certification in CCNA/CCNP/CCIE is a plus
• 24 x 7 standby support as required

• Develop green marine solutions that reduces marine carbon footprint, in line with company business objectives.
• Hands on in setting up of test lab to enable development and testing.

1. Assist the Project Manager to plan, monitor and control daily works at the project sites, able to read and drawing M&E drawing by using AutoCAD.

2. Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH management system.

3. Comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements.

4. Implement plan actions from risks and opportunities assessment.

5. Take responsibility for prevention of work-related injury and ill health.

6. Ensure that project operations and document control procedures are adhered to.

7. Plan, coordinate and monitor M&E subcontractor’s activities at project sites.

8. Maintain good house-keeping and implement safety practices.

9. Ensure that all M&E works carried out are in accordance to the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.

10. Ensure that inspection and tests are carried out as per Inspection and Test Plans, quality control mechanisms are being used and results are conformed to specifications.

11. Submit sample materials and calibration certificates to consultants for approval.

12. Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.

13. Accountable for the quality, safety, health and environmental management and performance at the project site.
