The Climate Transformation Programme (CTP) aims to develop, inspire and accelerate knowledge-based solutions and educate future leaders to establish the stable climate and environment necessary for resilient, just, and sustainable Southeast Asian societies.

CTP will generate knowledge and innovation across disciplines including climate and Earth science, ecology, materials science, artificial intelligence, humanities, social sciences and the arts, finance, health, and engineering. It will also translate state-of-the-art scientific results into real world solutions for Singapore, and it will transfer these solutions to Southeast Asia (SEA) and beyond.

As part of this programme, the Community Engagement office of the Earth Observatory of Singapore will work across the different research clusters and cross cutting themes to promote the programme and work with communities so they can benefit from its findings and activities.

The Project Officer (Communications and Engagement, Climate Transformation Programme) will be based at the Earth Observatory of Singapore at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The incumbent will be part of the EOS Community Engagement office and will work closely with researchers of the CTP.

The Project Officer will create content that engages a broad audience about the research and activities conducted by the CTP, and will communicate the findings and impacts with a range of stakeholders. Job Duties:

• Processing of Corporate Actions income and events for APAC region.
• Timely and accurate data entry for processing of all Incomes/Corporate events.
• Liaise with custodians for clarification on incomes/events.
• Prepare disclosure letter of shareholder request from companies.
• Handle queries from various internal stakeholders on the incomes/events.
• Pass entries for commission fees collected or update waiver file if fees are waived.
• Participate in UAT projects
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

• Accurately document patient admissions.

• Carry out inspections effectively and accurately obtaining and recording results accurately
• Identify, prioritize and act upon potential or real hazards or deviations from requirements discovered.
• Maintain effective working relationships with external and internal inspection/audit teams and cooperate as required
• Facilitate access of inspection/audit teams to appropriate information

3) Contribute To The Development And Maintenance Of A Health And Safety Culture At The Workplace

• Information and advice are effectively presented, on request and proactively, to relevant personnel

4) Contribute To The Reporting, Investigation, And Follow Up Of Incidents

• Effectively report details of incidents and near misses.
• Effectively investigate or contribute to investigations of workplace incidents or near misses
• Write clear and unambiguous reports with suitable recommendations forwarding them to the correct persons

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified to Minimum NEBOSH Cert preferred, NEBOSH Diploma would be an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years experience as a Safety Officer in a similar environment
• FPSO experience preferred
• Good experience in Safety Management Systems
• Highly experienced in use and operation of PTW, Risk Assessment, Gas Testing, safe control, and monitoring of all hazardous maintenance activities including hot work and confined space entry
  

Responsibilities

• Investigate new market opportunities and drive business growth within the company.
• Create and implement new sales strategies and action plans to enhance overall business expansion.
• Manage current customers and develop new ones within the assigned industrial market sector.
• Handle daily tasks such as managing sales inquiries, preparing sales quotations and costing sheets, and conducting customer visits when necessary.
• Conduct product sales introductions and technical presentations for customers.
• Help manage the existing network of distributors in South East Asia, providing guidance in line with market trends.
• Have the opportunity to expand and appoint or develop new distributors in new regions.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Science or Engineering discipline
• Candidate with experience in environment analytical instruments are advantageous.
• Candidates with no working experience can be considered.
• Experience in managing distributors and channel partners is highly advantageous
• Class 3 Driving License is an advantage.
