Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day incoming and outgoing calls and maintaining of Company's telephone directory.
• Managing incoming and outgoing mails and parcels.
• Responsible for maintaining all internal meeting rooms to ensure rooms are clean & presentable.
• Receiving, informing and guiding visitors including coordination with employees and serving drinks in a professional and warm manner.
• Monitor and maintain an adequate inventory of office and pantry supplies.
• Placing orders and issuing of all admin-related Purchase Orders (POs).
• Assist with company-wide events management such as department birthdays celebration and quarterly interaction.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant front desk/office admin experience.
• Able to work independently, team player, reliable, flexible and proactive
• Pleasant, professional personal presentation and customer oriented
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office application

Working Location: Raffles Place

Working Hours: Mon- Fri 8.30am - 6.00pm

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Coordination and monitoring of all facility maintenance activities, upgrading and/or refurbishment works to the facilities.
• Ensure projects and maintenance works are appropriately executed and successfully completed on­time within schedule and budget.

Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer to assist with the daily operations of shipping and freight forwarding services.

What Will You Do

• To attend to customers' and agents' inquiries and complaints.
• To arrange trucks and collection of cargo.
• To prepare booking and shipping documentation.
• To coordinate and monitor shipments with carriers and clients.
• To process custom permit.
• Ensure all cargoes are in good condition and if any damage shall revert to customer.
• To inform the shipper of any changes in vessel details or delay in arrival date.
• To assist with billing and closing jobs.
• To support all aspects of sales and operational activities.
• To perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What Do We Want

• At least a Diploma in Logistic or Transportation or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in Freight Forwarding or Shipping industry.
• Good knowledge in MS Office applications, Permit, Portnet.
• Have knowledge in shipping systems, eg. online booking, declaring custom permit.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
