REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

• Report to : Group Chief Finance Officer (Group CFO)

• Liaise with : All Departments

JOB PURPOSE

• Support and assist in timely and accurate financial and management reporting of Little Humans Pte Ltd (formerly known as Mothercare (S) Pte Ltd) accounts.
• Handle full set of accounts for several entities.
• Support Group CFO in financial related functions

JOB ROLE

Duties & Responsibilities

• Handle accounting Journals and finalize monthly trial balance and prepare monthly P&L and balance sheet
• Prepare monthly reconciliation of balance sheet schedules
• Assist in compiling cash flow data for weekly cash flow reporting
• Assist in bank forms preparation including fixed deposit placement and changes in signing arrangement.
• Handle gift vouchers issuance and reconciliation
• Keep proper accounts of payables and receivables including payments and collections
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation and follow up on closing outstanding items.
• File quarterly GST returns
• Handle annual audit requirements and provide corporate tax information to tax agent in line with statutory requirements
• Handles ad hoc finance and administrative duties including supporting the sales and operations for expositions and fairs.

KEY DECISIONS & PROBLEM-SOLVING

• Decide on proper accounting entries
• Ensure proper authorization is in place before payments are made
• Produce accurate and timely financial statements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum diploma with 1 year of experience
• Handling small full sets of accounts will be an advantage
• Hands on experience in Netsuite is an advantage
• Competent in MS office
