Group Care Plan Operations

Data Analytics & Insights (DAI) team under Group Care Plan Ops will support and work in close partnership with NUHS senior management, Group Specialty Chiefs (GSCs), Management Decision Support (MDS) teams and other stakeholders to realise the delivery of One Specialty, Multiple Sites and a OneNUHS patient care philosophy. The DAI team will develop innovative analytics solutions and derive actionable insights to support management decision making towards attainment of NUHS vision and key priorities.

Responsibilities

• Identify data and information needs required to enable the vision and key priorities of the organisation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify available and relevant datasets and make strategic recommendations on such collection, integration and usage.
• Develop, maintain and refine interactive dashboards using data visualisation tools such as Tableau.

Requirements

About this Role:

The Human Resource Executive (Part-time) works closely with the Human Resource Manager who has line-management responsibilities for this role, and interfaces directly with the Admin Executive on a regular basis. This role is based at the Council for World Mission (CWM) Headquarters, in Singapore.

Overview

The Job Holder will support the Clinical Services Planning & Integration (CSPI) Division including specialist and primary/community care co-leads, and work with other internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and manage the development of cross-sectoral, end-to-end care plans for NUHS Population Health Strategy 6 (pathways for conditions with significant disease burden). 1. Support end-to-end care plans development work

• Identification of gaps

The National Robotics Programme Office (NRPO) is responsible for catalysing differentiated robotics R&D capabilities at our Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) and Research Institutes (RIs) for the benefit of our economy and society. NRPO also works to foster public-private partnerships to ensure robotics technologies and IPs developed with public funding are relevant for industry and are commercialised into useful products, services and solutions that are adopted in Singapore and around the world.

A key role of NRPO is to bring together end-users across different industries, robotics & automation companies, and our IHLs/RIs to identify use cases and technology gaps that public-private partnerships can help to address. In so doing, we enhance Singapore’s robotics R&D capabilities and help Singapore-based robotics & automation companies to innovate and differentiate themselves in the market.

Another key role of NRPO is to work together with partner agencies to grow our robotics (supply-side) industry comprising system integrators, robot vendors, software and component suppliers. A strong and vibrant robotics (supply-side) industry with companies developing and making robotics products and solutions here for export will help to support our end-user industries and act as vehicles for the commercialisation of technologies and IPs developed by our IHLs/RIs.

Job Description

I am looking for one highly skilled and motivated individuals to work with me as full-time research professionals for a period of at least one year. The start date is subject to negotiation, but may be as early as 1 March 2024.

You will work with NUS Business School Professor Karsten Müller at the Department of Finance. For the most part, you will support Karsten’s ambitious research agenda on the link between credit markets and the real economy. This work uses macro and micro data and cutting-edge statistical methods to understand the drivers and consequences of who in the economy receives credit. Among other things, you will help to (a) construct novel data sources to measure credit market conditions, (b) analyse data to document the role of credit markets in recessions and stock market crashes, and (c) analyse the effectiveness of financial policies and credit subsidies in stimulating economic growth.

You will work with us on a variety of tasks, including data collection and analysis, statistical programming and data visualization, conducting literature reviews, summarizing research findings and policy documents, and editing research papers. This position is ideal for individuals with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage themselves and others, and an interest in economic research.

The position is based in Singapore. A successful candidate will be able to participate in the academic life at NUS, including the ability to attend research seminars and potentially PhD courses.
